    • Works well! My house smells great!
I bought this oil diffuser about 2 weeks ago. I have about a 1200 square foot house. I received the scent White tea. It smells great, like a clean scent! At first I used it like a regular diffuser in my living room and it smelled great, but it seemed that I could only smell it in the living room area. I hooked it up to my HVAC system on the recommended settings, 150 seconds on and 120 seconds off. I wasn’t smelling anything at all throughout the house. So, I emailed the company and asked them what is the max settings that I can have it on and off. They said that I can put it on max at 460 seconds (which is 8 min on) and 60 seconds (1 min off), but most folks have it set on 300 seconds on (5 min) and 60 seconds (1 min) off. I also asked how long the oil would last and they said about 2 weeks on the max setting. So, I set it on 300 seconds on and 60 seconds off. I have it set to come on at 9am and turns off at 8pm. So far, I can smell it in my smaller rooms like the bathrooms and it smells great! I can’t really smell it too much in the living room area- kitchen- since this is like a big room with no walls separating the areas, it is open. It was easy to program, well, I thought it was, since I was Active Duty Military…I am used to the Military time. My mom was thinking about getting this device, but she didn”t because she did not like the fact that you have to set the time to military time. Overall, I thought it is a pretty great oil diffuser! I was going to purchase the Aroma 360 diffuser and well, when you google their prices…..wow, expensive! So, I would say this oil diffuser works great! I am happy with it! It is now Sept. 3rd. I turned my A/C off due to the cooler temps/lower humidity/dew point. I do not have my HVAC fan running or A/C unit. I was going to disconnect the Diffuser to use manually in my living room, but I don’t have too! I can smell the White Tea scent in my living room area/kitchen area without anything running. I can’t really smell it upstairs, but there is no need to disconnect it & use it manually since I can smell it in my living room and kitchen areas! ... show more

    • Great scent throughout the house!
So far the diffuser is working great and I love the scent that I’ve also purchased. It is definitely a lot better than using the wax warmers that you can purchase and the scent stays the same day in and day out. Over time it will pay for itself with continued use.

UPDATE: After looking at my machine this morning I realized that the Magic Scent name is missing the “I” in Magic on the front. It seems I’ve been scent a defective or “seconds” machine which is why it’s probably barely blowing any scent set at 700! Also why is the font different on the machine shown on the listing and on their website. Are the ones we are getting sent old versions? I’ve left a VM for customer service and will contact seller via Amazon. I can easily just sent this back but I’m angry that I spent this money and was scent something from the scrap pile. Original review: I am a diffuser fanatic. I’ve had numerous diffusers with the water inside with one in each room. I tried a cold air diffuser right when they started coming out and although it didn’t have bells and whistles like the ones today I really like it. The prices at that time were so expensive so I kept using my water diffusers. I purchased a homedics cold air diffuser from Costco last year and was hooked! Their oils aren’t great so I use my own. I then went looking for something that could fill our large family room with scent and landed on this unit after looking around and reading reviews. I knew I wouldn’t hook up to our HVAC because our house is too long and I didn’t see it working well. Plus I just wanted a more powerful unit for our big main family room. I was really excited to get this machine and round out my collection of cold air diffusers. After 1 month of having it I’ve never been as unimpressed with a diffuser as this one. First the set up isn’t easy. Military time set up coupled with not having an option to just turn it on for awhile as it has to be scheduled are just a couple of reasons why it’s not convenient but I’d deal with those things if it actually BLEW the scent more than 3 foot radius. I have to get right up to it to smell it. I’ve changed the number that equals the power of the spray 3 times increasing it to 650 and it’s not made much of a difference. Each day has to be set up separately but as I said I wouldn’t mind any of it if the unit actually blew the scent out covering what they said is a large area…..FYI….it doesn’t. I keep looking at it and it makes me mad because it’s not a cheap unit. I expected so much more. The homedics cold air diffusers I have work so much better for 1/2 the price. I may be boxing it back up and sending it back because at this point it just bums me out when I look at it. The fan is going and it feels like it should be blowing out scent! I feel duped with this thing. Sad. ... show more
