  • The Truth in Tidbits
This is a gem of a little book - a book to keep by your bedside. Flip it open to ANY page and there you will find a little treasure of wisdom, of solace, or of encouragement! It is a treasure to be given to anyone about whom you care. My favoreite is on page 45. "Things that can never be fixed can still heal". ... show more

  • Not what I expected.
I read a friend's copy of Kitchen Table Wisdom. When I bought this "Little Book", I thought that more of the stories would be included. I am not so impressed with this. The Kitchen Table Wisdom was great. It made me laugh and cry and empathize with the subjects of her stories. She has an engaging style of writing. But I didn't particularly like this version. ... show more

  • Motivational simple quotes
Great book to remind you who you are, excellent after a grieving experience. My friend who was a grief counselor recommended it.

  • Thank you for compiling and condensing lots of quotes from the original book.
These are little tidbits from the big book of the same name. Like someone already cut out and saved the great quotes for you. Please read the original too, as well as the author's second book My Grandfather's Blessings.

  • So much wisdom and peace
As a cancer survivor, I've read quite a bit about surviving with grace and strength, but no one says it better than this author. Her wisdom about life is beautiful. Wish I had it years ago!

Good book of inspiring thoughts that are a good way to live one's life. Interesting words to guide the reader as s/he goes down the road of life. Ms. Remen has a way of writing that makes the reader feel comfortable and eager to read more.
