I have bought this product a lot of times. Normally it has zero smells and actually eliminates smells. However this time I used it in my room and it smells rancid. I currently am airing out the room with two dyson air purifiers. I am not sure if I just got a bad on and have started the process or getting it replaced. I am highly allergic to cats and cat dander and bought this in hopes to spend some time in my in-laws' home in which a couple of cats have been staying lately. I was unable to enter the house for more than 15-20 seconds without burning eyes and such. After my wife went through and gave a spritz over all major furniture and the carpet, I have been able to be in the house for long periods of time without any allergy symptoms. It needs better top part with spray. This was like my 3-4th time I ordered this product. It goes long way but I was traveling and couldn’t bring this back home everytime I travel since it takes a lot of space in suitcase so I just ordered where I go then I left at the hotel when I leave.
