The media could not be loaded. This is a cute puzzle, but the instructions are very difficult to follow! The video is not much better! You can get lost very easily following 2D instructions for a 3D puzzle!!! You may have to start over a few times, before you get it right! The fasteners are weak, don't stay in the slates when you are working on it, especially when you have to bend them for the legs, ears, tail, & attaching the head to the body!!! They slip out VERY easily!!! Recommend you use liquid Krazy Glue inside the slates to hold them, permanently!!! In case it is dropped, it WILL come apart! Krazy Glue dries clear, you won't see the glue!!! ... show more

The finished product is quite cute. When I purchased for my kids I didnt realize each box has 3 options for building. That being said, there was NO WAY we were going to be able to build this using the printed instructions. The diagrams are very very confusing. Thank goodness for the QR and video. Even using the video I had to pause and replay part several times. In many cases the demo was barely in the screen or the hands were covering the key piece of information. It took about 2 hours to assemble, mostly with me doing it and my 8 year old watching. It takes a good deal of dexterity and strength to connect the pieces. We were also missing a piece so subbed a different color. When we finished i was exhausted and just stuffed the lights in. The demo video seemed to demonstrate an elegant way to thread the lights that involved disconnecting pieces of the already assembled unit, and there was no way I was taking it apart again. ... show more

This is the worst "toy" ever. The written instructions are horrible. I thought the video instructions would be better. They were--marginally. There's no way a child could put this thing together. And to make matters worse, by the time you get to the end the last step makes the face and ears fall apart a lot.
