This product does a great job of blasting dirt out of cracks and crevices in rock. I have used it once on a shirt to take out an ink stain. I took out the stain but I think I had the pressure turned up too high and it 'sueded' the pocket of my shirt. The vendor shipped quickly and the item is as described in listing.     • Received low voltage electrical shock while using
This item was a replacement for a unit I bought many years ago at the Tucson Gem Show, so I knew what I was buying... at least I thought I knew. The item arrived promptly and looked the same as my old unit, with the exception of the plug. It arrived with a foreign plug and it came with a U.S. adapter. Weird, but I thought it would be ok. After using this item for about 20 minutes, my hand began to feel like I had some nerve pain, so I switched hands and felt the same thing... I switched back and realized I was actually getting a low voltage electrical shock through the aluminum (?) handle! I’m not sure if the handle was not made purely of aluminum, but I definitely had a constant shock every time I pressed the power button. I initially thought I should hold the unit with a towel, or glove, but then I came to my senses and submitted request for return. As always, Amazon’s customer service is outstanding and the return was no trouble, but I’m still in total shock (excuse the pun) at the poor quality of this product! ... show more
