I was able to put on bed easy...but having said all of that if you are looking for a deeper level of soft this is not the product for you. It would be impossible to return. OK so I've never had a bed topper, ive had mattress protectors but those just feel like old school baby diapers! So when I opened this package n it was fluffing right away, I couldn't believe the softness, structure, n easy of putting on my bed w deep side n elastic bit! I had a hard time making sure my fitted sheet fit under my mattress w this topper on, but doable! I had my first sleep n I felt like I was entering the top of a cloud! Now it's not like a 3inch foam piece that is firm, it's a filled soft wanna crawl n lay all over it! They were fluffy pockets of clouds! I would definitely recommend this! 100% But also I haven't tested w any spills etc. But when I do I'll try to remember to come back n edit my post! ... show more

We reluctantly were about to have to buy a new mattress when we decided to give this mattress topper a try first. It fits perfectly and creates a delightful cushiony comfort that even the mattress when brand new didn't have. We have one of those inexpensive mattresses that come with the bed from a furniture store, one side not even meant to be used so you're not supposed to flip it.
