This game sucks! Plain and simple, it sucks. The original Teat Drive game was groundbreaking. The in game physics were on another level and game lay was a lot of fun. This game has ok everything. Except the progressional mechanics. Giving players a way to make in game money is great and this game delivers that. The racing is competitive too which is another plus, all be it a small plus. That said you can have $100,000,000 but you’re limited to the cars you can buy as well as the mods you can perform. That idea does not work in today’s gaming scene. The only other thing I’ll say is the graphics… Again, in today’s gaming, these graphics are just ok. Nothing great. A lot of missed opportunities with this one. I’m honestly glad I bought a hard copy of the game so when an actual hood game does come out, I’ll have something to trade in towards that. ... show more

  • True Disappointment Unfortunately
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
TDU: Solar Crown was one of my most anticipated games this year! (And one of three games I had enough budget to buy.) Unfortunately as much fun as it could be it really falters where it counts. The bugs make it difficult to want to play every day, even the fast travel is broken so, I have to drive the whole island if I want to get to certain points for races. Sometimes the game wouldn't load or randomly crashes. One of the last things that happened was during the purchase of a new car for a race, it gave me an error and wouldn't let me buy it. I got tired and figured I'd try the next day. When I booted it back up, not only did I have two of the same car, less money of course, but I can't even sell the extra! Add to that the insanely obvious rubberbanding that the ai does, and random areas that make your car stop completely despite there being nothing visible, and it becomes a chore to play. On the positive sides, it is a visually pleasing game, the island, though a bit lacking, is very detailed, things like how the exhaust react during acceleration, the leaves landing on the windshields as opposed to just floating through the car like other games, and the great sens of speed you get while driving are a few things I love about it, but not enough to save this mess. I'm hopeful they will fix it and it’ll truly become as great as it's previous entries. ... show more

My son was able to play once, and from then on, it wants to connect to an account. We've reset the PW several times and tried to create a new account. Emailed Nacon gaming, no response yet.

  • Decent Racing Game Not Great!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
This isn’t forza or Gran turismo don’t go into this game expecting that at all! It’s a decent racing game at best that could use a few bug fixes at launch ! I’d wait for it to drop in price it’s a 30-40 dollar game rn at best! If I had to review it it’s a 6 out of 10 for me personally !

  • Worst racing game I've ever played
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
Don't buy this. The game is ugly, incomplete, and frustration. Should have been a mobile game. I love the test drive series, but this isn't test drive. It's a mess.

  • Solid game
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
I understand the other reviews about it being online only but, I've only experienced one server down issue and that was a couple hours after the early release. I got the Gold Edition directly from Playstation. I play late in the night and early in the morning. It always connects. Once or twice I had to reboot my PS5 but it logged in after. Is it unfair that it's online only? I suppose. But the game itself is fun. The driving physics are good. The way it's organized is solid. I truly enjoy playing it and it's my current game until Metaphor comes out. ... show more

  • unfair pricing
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
I ended up refunding this on steam since the server early access gaff they did and wanted to get it for ps5 instead and boy was i in for a shock.. -Disc/psn digital costs $10 more than pc.. -For a live service game.. -That cant be played offline.. -that also requires a ps+ membership to play at all Considering the fact that car license games cost a fortune to maintain the licensing fees where even EA delists older games. This game might go the way of concord really soon especially considering it pales in comparion to forza horizon 3-5, need for speed heat/unbound or the grid series. Punishing console playes with higher costs and fees is just bad practice. ... show more
