  • Great Product

This is the first time I ever used paint pens. Being the first time I wanted something reasonably priced, easy to use with great color and coverage. These pens had 2 tip sizes which worked for my project without having to buy multiple sets. The colors are great with great pigment. I used these on canvas and didn't have to go over areas multiple times to get the desired color. This was a larger project and didn't have to use alot of the product to get the desired color. I feel the colors are true to the color of the caps and close tightly so they didn't dry out. I liked the ability of having thin tips to outline and write with. The broader tips worked well to color in. There wasn't any odor which I was glad about since I am an asthmatic. I have read reviews on other products of this issue but there was none with these pens. They flowed easily without having to use alot of pressure. I definitely would highly recommend these since they were priced well, had multiple sized tips, colors were great and they worked beautifully. ... show more

  • Easy to paint with

I bought these paint markers for a craft to paint rocks with my kids. They were easy to use and having double sided tips was great. That made painting small details easier. The coverage was good and second coats were vibrant.

  • Good art pens for a great price

I have used these to paint on rocks. There is a good assortment of colors. I love the two tips. I haven't had them long but I've done a lot of painting and they haven't run out of ink yet. The items in the photo are also sealed with a gossy acrylic varnish.

  • Great Pens
I have been using these paint pens for a lot of customization projects. So far I have used them on fabric, plastic, vinyl, ceramic, stone, and rock with varying degrees of success. I originally purchased to fix a plush cat with as the stripes had worn off. This worked well though left the fabric feeling a little rougher for a while. The painted fabric no longer has a rougher feel to it and after more than a month the stripes still look good. I really liked how easy they were to use and the feel so I decided to try them on a couple vinyl figures next. This worked really well so I tried painting a little plastic horse figure next. The figure had been just an all white one piece figure prior to painting. I was surprised by how much easier it felt to control the pen for a small figure like this compared to using a regular paintbrush. While it isn't meant for really small detailing work, it did really well. The next thing I tried it on was a small sculptured figurine of a Chihuahua. I wanted to customize it to look like mine. While this was more difficult due to the fur texture on the sculpture and I was unable to get the paint between all this, the pens did a great job on the figurine. The next thing I used them on was a stone sculpture which is the first thing I regret using them on as the stone really wore down the tips. On a stone sculpture not only did it prove to be the end of both my black and white pens, the pen tips are just not small enough to get into all the little spaces between the fur much like the figurine I did only much more noticeable. While the end result looks okay, I won't be using them for any more stone sculptures. Recently, I began trying to use them to paint a rock which works, however I had previously painted one side of the rock using regular paint and the difference between regular paint and the pen is noticeable as the rock still shows through the color of the pen though as long as the rock is smooth it does work. Another project I began is to paint a ceramic figure. So far, it is both possible and comfortable to use the pens for this though the pens will have a hard time painting into the crevices on it as the tips aren't small enough for really small, tight spaces. These pens aren't perfect for everything and there are definitely times when regular paint is the best option, they do have a good range of use and besides being easy and comfortable to use, they also dry fairly quickly. Unlike regular paint I have only had to wait a few minutes to either continue painting in a different area of the statue or apply a color on top of another. The main downside of these pens is that you are limited to the colors that you already have. As far as I know it is not possible to mix colors to create new ones which is perfect for layering but not so much for if the color you want is a different shade from what is provided. ... show more

  • I used these for rock painting
Number of Items: 18
I used this pack and one other to put designs on rocks. I painted a base color on the rocks first. These dry quickly when painted which is great for doing designs on both side. Nice colors, I wish there were more shades. I like the double sided tips. Lighter colors will get stained by darker colors if you color on top of them. The colors don’t easily smear because they dry so quickly. The tips can get damaged by pressing too hard. This was my first time rocking painting or used these types of markers. I was satisfied. They don’t make a big mess like normal paints. ... show more

We used these to color little wooden Easter cutouts. The colors were nice and bright and no mess! I won't go back to paints and brushes. YUCK! Adults and kids loved them.

  • Great product! Better than dragging out the paint bottles, less messy and instantaneous results

I have Posca pens and when the grandkids kept using them I thought, I better find a cheaper alternative for them to use. I found these and the price was amazing considering the price of of the posca pens and you got way more. The bonus is there are two tips on each pen. Surprised they worked so well. I bought each child a pack to take with them and bought one for me. They cover well, and dry fast. I do artsy things with the grandkids and one of the things is paint rocks. It was so easy and fast for them that they did quite a few. Results turned out great. Super easy project and cleanup. ( put the lids back on and you’re done). Everyone was proud of their creations! If you are artsy you need to have these on hand. A great gift for kids. ... show more
