Great adapter. I've tried on several EVs at 48a 208v. Got full power and no errors. I like the while handle, keeps heat from the sun down. After 5 hours at full power, the adaptor was barely about ambient temp. I'd recommend to friends.

    • Misleading - Not DC fast charge capable

Max charge is 19.2 kW MAX....not 300kW......not 200kW.....not 150kW. Meaning this is NOT for DC fast charging and you should never hold up a Tesla supercharger for hours on end using such an adapter. I learned the hard way...I hope my review gets attention to save others the same mistake.

    • Great workaround to charge your Non-Tesla with Tesla Wall Connectors

I have a Tesla Wall Connector and I needed to charge a Volkswagen ID.4. This adapter allows me to charge non-Tesla EVs with Tesla NACS plug charging stations that are Level 1 or Level 2. Keep in mind this does not work with Level 3 Superchargers, even if the connector is the same. What's great is in Las Vegas, there are many Tesla chargers behind the Linq at the Supercharging station and this allows me to charge Non-Teslas there at the station! They are all NACS and I've seen other non-Teslas charge there with an adapter and now I have my own! The quality of this connector feels solid and even though it's a little bulky, it doesn't take all that much room in the grand scheme of things. For the most part, what this adapter is doing is passive, meaning it doesn't do any conversion in voltage or amperage. It just converts the plug from one standard to another standard (Tesla NACS to J1772). Knowing that, I feel confident that there shouldn't be any issues. What's nice about this adapter is that there is a locking pin on the bottom to ensure a secure and solid connection. ... show more
