You get a nice variety... camels, zebras etc...the usuals. Two or three will fit in the palm of an adult hand. Only one giraffe couldn't stand...hot water fixed that. The animals with fur all have a texture. Each animal had painted eyeballs. Not all animals have any painted detail other than eyes. I've had better and worse. For less than 10 bucks you get some pretty nice animals for whatever reason you wanted them. Larger sets cost more and are often filled with trees and rocks that count as pieces. I am pleased with this. I had already bought the big Terra by Batatt Dinosaur bucket with the big dinos. Excellent. This product is always very good quality. I would rather each animal have been almost twice it's size but that's not what this is or what it's advertised as. You can buy mono colored animals at dollars stores now that are only about 12 per bag. These are better detailed and have nice colors and paint. Anyone who loves animals should like these. A very small child might try to swallow them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These animal figurines are great quality and you get a lot for a great price. Sadly, they’re a little too small for my 2 year old - the first thing he did when we opened the pack was put one in his mouth. The box does say 3+ on them, so this is my fault for ordering.

We bought these to put in sensory bins for our ocean loving kiddo. The animals look fairly realistic especially for how small scale they are. This pack has a nice variety of ocean animals which our kid likes sorting by where in the ocean you might find the animal. The number of each animal differs because this seems like a grab bag container, so you can setup an activity to have the kid group them and then count how many are in each group without worrying about them finding a pattern to it and guessing. ... show more

I've gotten into making resin dioramas, and was looking into getting a resin 3D printer to make my own figurines, but when I saw a small pack of animal figures at a dollar store, I wondered if there were larger quantities of them for sale. Enter these. Are these figurines premium, with the utmost attention to detail and realistic paintwork? Of course not! But at the price, at the quantity, these figurines are just fine for display in my simple opinion. I only have one gripe about these: There's text on the underside of each animal. Not a huge deal, but I do have some diorama ideas that may see these figurines at an angle, which means a viewer of the diorama might see the text. So, that's limiting my ideas a tad, but I'm sure I could use a rotary tool and carefully scrape most if not all of the text off (haven't tried it yet). These animals are not scaled to one another, and that does slightly limit combination choices as well. But, that isn't severe. After all, the animal types in this tube also has limitations in some ways (such as putting a hippo, lion and deer in a diorama). And of course, a child with imagination could definitely have some fun with these figurines, but in today's world of electronics, I doubt many kids would want to play with these for long if at all. But I'm happy to give these new purpose as display pieces in my dioramas! Finally, another reason I like these is the quantity of 60 pieces; I'm new to making dioramas, and a couple have turned out good, but most of my attempts still have unsatisfactory results, caused by issues created by me in some way. Having multiple of the same animal in different varieties helps with continuing to practice this art! ... show more
