Liking this led 15 bulb light set very much, as it's ready to use right out of the box! The bulbs are very durable because they're LEDs and the clear housing over them is not likely to break or take on water, if used outside and exposed to the elements. The set itself is a little over 48 ft long, and can accommodate more than 20 additional strings of lights, plus they can be dimmed as well. An extra bulb is included with the set. This set of lights emits a warm glow, as opposed to some of the LEDs that have the very stark blue white color, which I actually happen to like but these are very calm & relaxing. LEDs are extremely efficient to run because they draw very little current, they do not generate a lot of heat because they're so efficient most of the power goes to making the light! I'm in upstate New York, and I'm not waiting for the warm weather these are strung outside my house on my front walk at the moment , against the house, will most likely be getting another set to illuminate a dark area that leads to our barbecue area, and has a couple of steps that you could easily miss in the shadows. They're really nice and festive, as far as durable goes we've had some ice storms and some pretty intense wind storms lately and all the lights still light, which I figured they would because they are wired adequately, each bulb to the main wire that's 48 ft long with a good thick lead which is not likely to break any time soon, like Christmas lights do with the two little strands that break from the wind moving them back and forth, these won't do that. We're in a pretty dark pretty remote location and I will tell you that these do provide enough workable light to use your grill outdoors with, and to see who's drink you're picking up hopefully it's yours LOL! This is a worthwhile set of lights & I'm very happy with them. This set would blend with just about any decor or situation that you plan on using them in. I could also recommend for using them indoors as well, again just to mention they're super cheap to run they provide a very usable light, they're easy on the eyes visually- bright but not annoyingly bright. We enjoy the LED lighting for the looks, the quality of light and the savings. This is a nice set you could get a lot of use out of and be very happy with as I am! I have two sets of these lights; one set up on our deck and the other set runs down a path on the side of our home that goes to the driveway. I had used those kinds of lights you stick into the ground and then turn on at dusk, but they weren't reliable. These lights plug into outlets so they are more reliable than other kinds. I have both sets on a timer that goes on in the evening and then turns off about a half hour after bedtime. Now when I come home in the evenings, I'm greeted by a very warm glow as I walk along the path and up the stairs to our apartment. We hung a second set above on our small deck, so we can sit outside in the evenings and listen to the birds or just relax in the cool air. These are awesome. They've survived some downpours so far, and they work perfectly. They don't come with a timer, so you'd have to get one separately, but these lights are fantastic. I actually don't know why we messed with other kinds for so long. These are warm and inviting and adds a lot of charm to our walkway and deck. ... show more

These are great patio lights! They put off the perfect amount of light to enjoy the night life without being in the dark. The bulbs are plastic so we won't have to worry if we have any storms. Easy to steup.

    • It's debatable if you should use outdoor for long periods of time
This 50ft string of lights come with shatterproof Edison bulbs. On the ad description it says lights are indoor/outdoor, but I'm weary about keeping them plugged in over a long period of time in the weather outside. I found the wire to be lightweight and the transformer to be indoor use only. I got these to use for an outdoor wedding. The lights were strung along poles to outline the reception area. I did wrap all the connectors to insure safety if the weather got bad. These strings are 50ft long with only 15 bulbs, so you have a larger gap than most similar strings on the market. The lights give out a yellowish glow that is nice and warm. I did read that these bulbs are not your standard size, so after using the spare bulb you may be up sh___ creek without a paddle. I really hope that's not the case, cause than the ideal of getting a good product for the price will go out the window. I did not do a lot of research on the bulbs, mostly cause I purchased these for one event and never had plans of permanently using them. ... show more

    • Truly shatterproof, great for outdoors
I recently moved into a house that has an outdoor patio space, which I never had before! I wanted some patio lights that would hold up to weather and winds, and wouldn't risk breaking or shattering. I found these Tenmiro 50FT LED Outdoor String Lights and saw good reviews, so I ordered them. They arrived exactly as expected. The plastic isn't cheap or crappy looking, so you're not sacrificing appearance for functionality. They look really nice, like an outdoor cafe in a cute neighborhood! They're bright enough, easy to hang, and long enough for my purposes. I might buy a few more strands to cover more area, but I'm happy with them for now!     • Spread out but bright
We put this on our outdoor pergola. I love the look of these lights. The bulbs are pretty spread out though so we ended up getting a second set and put them in between this set. It lights up my entire back yard now. It works really well. They are light weight and shatter proof. We used adhesive clips to put them up and they've been up for months now and have had no issues.
