    • Short life at a big price
The battery lasted only 2 months, it doesn’t charge anymore. The last battery I bought lasted over 2 years. Don’t recommend it

    • Seems generally as good as the OEM batteries thus far
My philosophy around battery-sucking appliances is to worry less about the exact battery life of individual batteries and just have more on hand. That way you can always keep one charging while you're working and try to have 1-2 extras that are charged and ready to go. So this may not have the exact capacity of the original but it fits well and works while it's in the vacuum. So I'd call it a win from my perspective. But I also understand that if this is your sole battery, you'll want to get one that has as much life as possible. The one thing I did notice is that when I kicked the vacuum into high power mode, it cut off after a few seconds. It did this twice until I noticed that I was on carpet and it was set for hardwood floors. So I think it was the vacuum shutting off due to excessing suction or something rather than the batter exceeding amps maybe. Once I put it back into carpet mode, it didn't automatically turn off so I think the battery is just fine and it was a combination of dirty bristles and the wrong floor setting. I decided to mention it here in case anyone else has a similar experience but I think it's a non-issue. ... show more

This was a direct replacement for my Shark IONFlex 2X Vacuum: IF252 ION battery. What was nice was that I was shipped a 4.0 Ah battery instead of the 3.0 Ah that was listed.     • Rejuvenator for your Shark vacuums
This LiOn battery performs well in replacing my original Shark batteriers. Its form and fit accommodate the Shark battery slot in the vacuum and the Shark LiOn battery charger. I did find it more difficult to release the battery out of the vacuum. This may be due to the four rubber-like discs on the top side of the battery. The discs may serve as a cover cap. The rubber-like material causes it to have more grip making it more difficult to slide out. The original battery has recessed cover caps of plastic -- not a gripping surface. Electrically, this battery has more power: 75.6W vs 61.7W at the same 25.2 voltage. This battery has greater amp-hours: 3000AH vs 2.45AH. This battery has safety registration markings on its label; the original Shark battery had none but it does have a serial number for tracking purposes should there be a need. This replacement battery has no visible serial number. Performance-wise it may not give you more battery life while vacuuming, but it gives more vacuuming power for your old vacuum cleaner enabling the old to perform a little like new -- more vigor. ... show more

This battery does not hold its charge. My prior battery held its charge to vacuum more than four rooms but this battery only held its charge long enough to complete one of my rooms.

    • Will not hold a charge.
we have jad the battery less than 90-days and it worked great for about 70-80 days, now it won't hold a charge. We plug it in to the charger, the next day all the lights show a full charge and when we put it in the vacum, it will start up for about 15-seconds.
