Wasn't planning on reviewing this particular item but what the hell. When I make reviews for anything, I prefer to have owned an item for a while prior to doing so and given it a fair amount of use depending on what it is. Well, I've owned this for a little over 5 months now so I think it qualifies. TL;DR - Absolutely recommend for anyone less than 7 inches in length/6 inches in girth. Any larger, and it may start to get a bit more difficult to use or uncomfortable. It's ease of drying/cleaning and build quality are otherwise excellent assuming it is cared for properly, it seems to last very well given the number of times I've used it (likely in the area of 100 or so) and the textures are incredible varied depending on how the device is used, and are very easily and nicely controlled. Men with smaller hands may require both hands to get the full effects (at least without getting sore hands if you use it for extended periods) Simply put, if you've got a fleshlight and like it, you will like this as well. I have 3 fleshlights (STU, Stoya, Flight) and I prefer this item over all of the fleshlights, but even if you didn't, its ease of use(clean up, drying, etc) will be well worth having for times that you would prefer a quick cleanup over what can prove to be a pain in the ass with the fleshlight at times. The texture feels very good, and the ability to control where that texture is felt the most through the sides is excellent. It allows for an incredible amount of variation whenever you want with minimal effort. The so called 'buttons' really are just three white markers on a large solid pad that spans the entire clear area of the side and offer no real function as you might think, but they do provide a bit of grip that is nice. The manipulation of the pad still does what it is designed to do and claims to do however. You can achieve immense amounts of variation and stimulation depending on how the Tenga is rotated, angle it is held at, and pressure applied to the pads(including how hard, and what direction/angle the pressure is applied from) so it really does offer an incredible amount of variation that makes sure it doesn't get boring any time soon. One thing I will mention is that men with smaller hands may find it difficult to handle the pads of the device to control its feel with just one hand. I've got above average hand size however and it is quite easy otherwise. Many people list noise as an issue with this item. It does produce a fair bit of noise, but its not extreme by any means. Perhaps it is for some due to the shape of their genitalia, but it was little issue for me. I live in a home with 3 others and assuming my door was closed I was not concerned at all about people overhearing it. Another common issue I read about is size issues, some saying that they are 'average size' but it is too small. Put simply, I am about 6.75" in length, and about 5.75" in girth and the Tenga accomdates it. However, for anyone with genitals longer or larger in girth than I, I would personally recommend you stay away. At my length I'm able to reach the very end of the inside of it with a small length that doesn't "fit" exactly and girth wise it is rather tight, and anything much more would be pushing its limits. As far as the build quality of the item goes, I'd say it's absolutely fine assuming you aren't prone to dropping stuff. I've not dropped this what so ever from more than perhaps 2 feet on to carpet, and it's held up in all regards. Revision 1.01 - 6/30/2013 CORRECTIONS: (Rather than re-write the review, I'm simply adding or correcting things here.) - Yes, I really did read the manual first. I read manuals for everything, including something like this. - I decided to give the Red model a try recently, but found it to be inferior to the black model. I discovered that this was because it requires pressure from both sides. See below. - Note that you can use more than one of the three white "pressure points" at a time, *OR* the soft space in-between.the white points. In fact, I would recommend using both hands when using this product to create combinations. This is especially important for the red version, because without applying some pressure to *both* sides, the intended extra suction and tip stimulation is not properly recreated. - Below, I said that you can lubricate one side and then close it. This is an error on my part, as the pockets inside won't immediately be lubricated as a result. Be sure to lubricate the pockets or, just to be safe, use lubricant on both sides before closing. - I didn't mention this before, but be sure to adequately lubricate the inner pockets that are meant to add lubrication during use. Not only will it make the action smoother, but it will consistently add tiny amounts of lubricant if there are places where it is missing. A nice little feature, actually. - +1 for durability.
