Very comfortable and well made seat. Really good support for hip and leg area so it doesn’t feel like your hip is being shoved into your lower back. I have a friend who has broken his back on two different occasions and this seat allows him to spend the day fishing in comfort. Highly recommend.

Great seat ! Fished yesterday for 7hrs. . 4 hrs. in steady drizzle. Seat did not feel wet. Butt stayed dry. After 7hrs. we ran out of bait. And i realize how i was not cramped or sore. These seat fit nice bolted onto the bench seat in my Boston whaler. They're comfortable. The seats look to be well made. I cannot comment on there longevity because we just put them in. The 4 stars instead of 5 stars reflect the fact that the seat came with different size bolts. 2 short and 2 long. The short were not usable. I have had 2 knee replacements in past year and standing to fish is just something I can't do anymore. I need to be seated. I have a year old Triton bass boat which came with one sit down seat and a butt seat. The sit down seat is usually occupied by my wife. I called my dealer and a new fold down seat was almost $800. No way. I found this Tempress and thought it was worth a try. It's very comfortable and while not an exact match the colors are similar to what I have in the Triton so you have to look pretty close to tell it's different. I feel much more comfortable and secure sitting down and this seat was exactly what I needed, for a much better price. ... show more

After buying a boat that needed some work I tried to cheap out on the seats to save money, I started with $50 seats and didn't like those, then I bought some $100 seats and those were only a little better. The problem with the cheap seats is they were too small. You couldn't slide back far enough to feel like you were total on the seat and the back was too straight up and down, there is no way I could sit on those all day. The Tempress ProBax Orthopedic seats may be a lot more expensive but they are totally worth the money. They are very comfortable, the material is tough and they are well designed. The quality just rings, they should last for years. When you are fishing, you spend a lot of time on your butt, don't try to cheap out on the seats or you will be sorry. I am very satisfied with these seats and wish I would have just started with these and save the time and trouble. ... show more
