This ladder comes with screws and a bottom brace. However none of the photos showing this ladder in use has the brace across the feet. And the instructiom book doesnt even mention putting it on. As you can see in photos there are pieces in there which look like they could stay and be fine. Or you can slide them out and put bar in with its own rubber feet. The ladder goes up so smoothly. As you raise a rung you can hear the lock snap in place. Then to lower you slide lock clips and rung drops quick but then last inch is slow so you dont pinch your fingers. I wish there was a clearer way to tell if its locked. It's a very negligible amount that they slide. Also says you cant use top three rings so take some off of the height you will actually reach. It wont be the height of the ladder. This is much easier to maneuver and cleaning my gutters will be much easier now. Oh upon removing the slide pieces on the feet a bit of the plastic pulled away. I'm excited about this telescoping ladder and waiting to use it. It's compact, sturdy, and has a slow-drop feature. However, I find the locking mechanism a bit tricky. The English is poor (in the manual) but the safety stickers are well done. The package it came in was almost destroyed so it can use better packing material due to it being heavier than I expected. ... show more

Did NOT like the spacing of steps ! They are not the same spacing as other folding or extension ladders and create a safety hazard for users ! A redesign to calculate the problem should occur!

I just used this ladder to repair a camera that is about ten feet off the ground, excellent sturdiness, legs are big at the bottom to hold you and grab the ground.
