Now I would just like to say that in the United States service dogs do not have to be labeled as such, however labeling your service dog can help with avoiding access issues. Additionally, misrepresenting an emotional support animal or a pet as a service dog in public is technically a misdemeanor and puts genuine task trained service dogs and their handlers in danger. Now I say this because I got the Crimson collar with the Service Dog text with the neoprene padding. I absolutely love this collar for my service dog because he has a long thick coat and gets hot in his vest and harnesses especially in the summer. Now to combat this I usually put on a tactical collar with a patch but those can be a bit heavy and intimidating to the public, since they might mistake him for a military or police K9. This collar is lightweight and its vibrant color catches people’s attention without worrying them. The reflective stitching also gives me some peace of mind when he runs around outside when the sun goes down since I can spot him easier with a flashlight. The D ring is welded which is a huge plus with the neoprene so if your dog pulls for any reason the D ring is less likely to split open and the neoprene adds some cushion to your dogs neck. The collar also has a smaller D ring off to the side that you can put your dog’s tags onto so they don’t get in the way of your leash clip and minimize the sound they make. As of now the lettering seems to be holding up well despite being screened or printed on instead of embroidered, which is a pleasant surprise given the price point. My only complaint is the lack of color selection when it comes to the collars with text. I would love to get another one of collars if they come out with orange or teal with the service dog text to match his leashes.     • Decent collar, but not really heavy duty

I thought I ordered the padded collar, so I was a bit taken aback when the collar arrived and it wasn't padded or lined. My error because I ordered the plain collar. I ordered a small to replace a really cheap collar on my 4 month old Nigerian Dwarf goat. It is made much better than the one I threw out. It is made well enough for a small dog, but whether it will stand up to a 25 pound goatling will remain to be seen. Of note: the D ring for tags is not solid or soldered closed so if tags snagged something, this D ring could easily be bent open and you could loose your tags. The D ring for the leash attachment appears to be soldered at the joint but the joint is very clear, so if larger collars use the same D Ring, I would use caution using these colars on larger dogs. I suggest someone who has ordered a large collar, hang it from a garage bean and attached 30 to 40 lbs of wet to the D ring and tug on it really hard. I don't think it is strong enough to hold a large dog. The nylon strapping is the thinner sort, not the heavier thickness you might find on big dog collars and horse harnesses. Adjusted down to the smallest size, it is slightly too large for my goat, but should fit him in a few weeks. It is not heavy duty "farm dog" wear, but it is on par and about the same price range as a similar collar in a commercial pet supply store. After 2 yrs of training as a service dog for medical condition(s), My 2.67 lb and 3.9 lb Yorkies earned this Collar as proof of satisfactory alert action in advance. On 6/15/24, my lil gal and guy alerted us to an impeding stroke that did in fact occur moments later. Because of that, a life was saved and no lasting distinquishable deficits. Now, neither has ever been through an actual reality test, but they proved their capabilities beyond our expectations. Since then, I've been on the lookout for an XS Service Dog collar and low-n-behold I found this one. Given their tiny size I have searched the world over via internet to find one that would fit them. Service Dog Harnesses are almost out of the question for dogs under 5 lbs. Finally, I found and decided on this TECEUM Reflective Pet Collar in XS. It's PERFECT in size, Service related and reflective. While they will still wear a harness to attach a lead to (their throat's are too tiny to put pull pressure on their throats resulting in potential damage), this collar still serves to inform the public of their service and it has D-rings to attach a bell onto it to keep others informed of her location at all times to avoid getting under foot, or their contact & vet information. The collar is easily adjustable, soft and pliable, very well marked and not too wide (only 5/8" wide) for her tiny neck. Both our Yorkies are trained Service Animals. They both reacted to the unfortunate event on 6/15/24 and as such, I will be ordering another one of these. I did not order the 'padded' one due to their tiny necks and the padding adds bulk, but they both have worn the one I did order and are 100% comfortable enough, they each fell asleep while wearing it. The clasp is solid, the woven band is spectacular and I would not hesitate to recommend TECEUM's Reflective Service Dog Collars. It arrived super quickly and it's super affordable. Again, I will be ordering another. Thanks TECEUM for taking into consideration that SERVICE also comes in 'small packages' and provided this XS collar. ... show more
