  • Looks great, aware if it fits with cpu cooler
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) Style: DDR5 7800MHZ 38-48-48-84 Color: Black
I think it’s listed as a frequently returned product not because it’s bad, but because it blocks most larger cpu coolers. Works best with an aio because the ram is larger and can’t fit under cpu coolers. Pretty expensive, not necessarily a bump noticeable bump in performance for faster ram. Make sure to check your max ram speed for your specific motherboard. I bought 4 slots worth but my board can only handle 6000 mhz in 4 slots. For newbies 1DPC is basically 2 sticks separated by one slot and 2 DPC is all four slots filled. I don’t actually know how to check whether it’s 1R or 2R, which is basically something to have to do with the individual ram that effects max speed, but my speeds checked out to it being 1R ram. Fairly bright, my ram weren’t in sync and I’m unsure how to fix it. It’s not obvious how. When I have two in it synced but four half are synced and the other two are synced but neither groups are synced with each other. FYI if you set speed above your max then it’ll make your pc not connect to monitors and you’ll have to flash bios by short circuiting something and it’s kinda sketchy, don’t try it unless you’re fine with the risk and time to disassemble everything and learn the process. I’ve had to do it twice because I didn’t know max ram speed when I enabled xmp at first, then when I found it out, i later added 2 more sticks and didn’t know that lowered the max speed. ... show more

  • TEAMGROUP | (2x16GB) 7200MHz (PC5-57600) CL34
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) Style: DDR5 7200MHZ 34-42-42-84 Color: Black
Plug and play load into bios, enabled XMP, zero issues, stable. Can likely push these much further with manual tuning. Intend to get at least 7433 from mine with much tighter timings, but maybe I'll get lucky and get 7800 (active cooled). Rig info: CPU: 13900k Mobo: z690 MSI MEG ACE BIOS version: " 7D27v18 " 11/11/2022, 1.80 I was also going to include Thaiphoon burner info, but for whatever reason it was being buggy and I don't feel like messing with it, perhaps at a later date I'll go back and do so. Memory Clock: 3,600.0 MHz Memory Clock Ratio: 36.00 x Tcas: 34T Trcd: 42 T Trp: 42 T Tras: 84 T Trc: 126 T Trfc: 574 T Command Rate: 2 T Gear Mode: 2 Update 1: So after a day of tinkering I've found that even slight overclocking elsewhere greatly impacts the stability of these, I was unable to get them to go up past their rated with manual tuning, which fair enough they're not advertised to. However the second I started messing with CPU overclocking things started getting unstable. I'm able to run them at 7000 with the CPU overclocked, further another who have purchased the same set with the same CPU, with the next generation of the same motherboard (Z790 meg ace) is telling me he cannot get his over 6600 With so much variance I'd have to advise sticking to QVL ram for DDR5 and even then you're rolling dice, this appears to be CPU side issues for the most part, not Ram quality or silicon lottery Update 2: I've since pulled these apart to get them in some aftermarket heatspreaders, figured I'd post what Teamgroup does for their cooling solution for anyone interested. TLDR They use adequate thermal solutions, but the heatspreader is completely inadequate. (Stock) Just going bare dimms dropped temps by 4°c, and aftermarkets, and aftermarkets by 13c (I used Bykski Copper Shields) Update 3: I've since swapped off of these for G.skill 8,000s, but I was able to take this kit up to 7800 with the Bykskis on a 14900k+Encore, and with the same CPU on a Z790 ProArt up to 7600. Not bad for what is now a relatively cheap kit, if you know what you're doing ... show more

  • Great product for 10mo until one stick died. RMA in progress.
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) Style: DDR5 7200MHZ 34-42-42-84 Color: Black
Great memory for 10mo until one of the sticks died. Things like this happen so I’m not too bummed as of yet. Submitted an RMA so I’ll update the outcome from that experience. Otherwise the 7200Mhz XMP profile ran flawlessly without any instability issues on a Z690 mobo paired with a 12900k.
