This 30 ft slip and slide with two body boards was perfect for distracting the children while our house was getting remodeled. I purchased it 3 years ago. Yes, I know that is a long time to wait to review something. I have three kids and not only have they used it but at least 20 others have as well. My kids are so hard on toys and whatnot so I honestly only expected it to last that one summer. Here we are three summers later and still using it. Sure there are holes that happened from wear and tear but I “flex sealed” the crap out of them and it continues to live another day. The hose attachments were not actually helpful for American hoses. We ended up just cutting the end off a garden hose and attaching what they provided and it worked perfectly. But my $5 garden hose was worth the sacrifice because I am telling you, this thing has been fun. The slide itself isn’t naturally slick with water. I mean, you can get going but I knew growing up we always put baby shampoo on it and we thought we were going to take off to space with as fast as we would go. That is still the case now. Baby shampoo (Dollar Store) was the ticket to endless hours of fun. I think at this point, the main I want is a way to purchase more body boards. I don’t want to purchase random ones and have them somehow effect the slide. But overall for $82 plus a $5 hose and some FlexSeal I had around the house; this has been a fantastic purchase. ... show more

Did we need a $100 slip and slide? In a normal year, probably not. But 2020 is not a normal year, and I didn't have many issues about dropping a hundred bucks to give the kids another option to burn some energy off while we're all at home. We've put this thing through its paces. It's held up well to a summer's worth of use, although eventually we had to spend more time keeping the dog off of it, as she was getting a little worked up running down to the splash pool. The splash pool is fantastic; we usually put it toward the bottom of a gentle slope in the yard, and it fills up to deliver a good cold shock at the end of the ride. Personally I love setting the kids up in a tube and literally kicking them down to the pool. The size of the slide is a big draw, but it also is my main concern for the winter. I'll have to see how it holds up to an off season in storage. There's no way it's folding back up into the original box, I haven't even gotten close storing it between uses now. It's also a bit of a pain leaving it out to dry drapped all over our deck, but that's helped keep it from getting funky before it gets folded up. It's work, but it's fun. ... show more

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. Some reviews are bad bc they don’t take care of this PLASTIC slide. You do have to handle with care and not be so rough. It’s plastic LOL!😊 I also remove once dry and store in garage out the weather to keep it from getting ragged and bugs in it. A few hints… when you place pegs in ground to secure it, don’t spread the plastic too far apart. It might tear. When your child slides, put alittle dish soap on the slide so they don’t try to slide, get stuck, and tear the plastic. Also make sure you keep it wet in the sun bc it gets hot so it burns alittle when skin touches it. It’s plastic. I usually set it up with room to wiggle so it does not tear. This is for bare feet, no shoes. Be careful of the ground it’s on bc it is not cushioned but it does the job for a kid to slide on. No one heavier than 100 lbs would have a good time. You risk tearing and so forth. It is pretty long so a child can run and slide pretty far. It keeps my daughter occupied for hours. Easy assembling and water hookups. As the adults, I like sitting close to feel the water sprinkle on my feet. Enjoy. ... show more

I read the reviews before taking the plunge and clicking buy now. Let me give you my honest opinion. I have not seen my kids since we set this up. I have 3 heathen children that are each a tornado of destruction when every something comes out of the packaging. So far it's in one piece. They have been outside enjoying sunshine, fresh air, and a soap slick sliding experience for FOUR HOURS. I have been sitting in my quiet house enjoying silence for FOUR HOURS. I read a review where someone complained they needed cushioning for this slip and slide. Let me correct this misinformation. It's the ground, the odds are good that it's going to be hard. The kids are young, they still bounce and bruised knees are part of growing up. For the reviews mentioning that there wasn't enough water coming out of the sprinkler part...not a problem here! Everything is perfect. Try unkinking your hose. I bought an additional sprinkler in case this was an issue, nope! So in summary, if my hellions can manage not to destroy this in a day it's a worthy investment. I'll be sitting in the splash pool (Yes, it does hold water just fine.) in a bit relaxing while the kids earn their battle scars. ... show more

Way better than the old one. Great fun for the kids. Nice that two can go at once. Like other reviews I have to agree that it isn’t very slippery. We use dish soap and have it on a hill. Now that creates a lot of fun!
