Description

You can always use some extra shade on your pontoon boat. The Pontoon Gazebo accommodates both 96" and 102" wide boats and extends out to 8' of coverage. Constructed from Hot Shot marine-grade polyester fabric, this top is strong, yet still lightweight. Supported by a shock-corded fiberglass pole framework that breaks down for easy storage. Large interior radius provides excellent head room. After initial installation of permanently mounted hardware to your playpen rail, the Gazebo attaches and comes down in minutes. Hardware and storage bag included. Measures 96"L x 102"W x about 50"H from mounting point. Not for use while underway.

Quite honestly the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars has to do with how the poles attach to the canvas. There are only Velcro lashings on the underside, the poles do not slip through sleeves (like a tent), that means that erecting this on a boat requires two people. Now don't get me wrong...could one person do it??...probably. But I am not coordinated enough to try that and risk loosing a pole to the bottom of the lake. Now, once this thing is up and in place, IT IS AWESOME!!! My dealer wanted $1,000+ to install a second bimni, I opted to try this and I do not regret it. I recommend this cover for any pontoon boat owner, but please read what I put first. ... show more

This gazebo does what it is intended to do; it provides needed shade to the front of the pontoon when moored or anchored. Be aware that quality control is lacking and the company is not willing or able to fix problems correctly. I received the gazebo missing one of the straps that makes the connection between the playpen/railing and the gazebo corner. No big deal, right? Wrong!! I contacted Taylor via email and got a fairly quick response. The representative seemed to understand my need and agreed to send the needed part. A week later, I received an envelope in the mail and excitedly opened it. Wrong part. I sent another email and was told that they don't carry spare parts for this model, so she sent what they had! OMG! She knew she sent the wrong part and can't get another?! I am appalled and disappointed. Seemingly good customer service gone awry. My response expressing my disappointment has gone unanswered. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for!

Poorly made product. Rubber tips popped off the ends, and flew somewhere unknown when I removed the top from the mounting brackets! The shorter pole is a bear to get in to the pockets. The seams where sewn together are stretching to the point the holes are larger than the needle caused.

    • Poles lost in 50’ of water don’t work well!!

It works fairly well once you get it up. It’s almost impossible for one person to put together by their self. Two people makes it a little easier. I have a friend that put one on his tri-tune and liked it until he lost one of the poles in the lake... kiss that one goodbye! Nonetheless, I ordered mine, installed it and used it for the second time and guess what? I lost one of my poles in the lake as well, when it popped out of the slot. As far as I can tell Taylor Made does not offer a replacement parts of any sort. ... show more

Haven't used it yet as it is winter and haven't been out on the boat much. I live in Texas so we use ours year round. Mine is missing the hardware though.. sure would like that. When I look for product support it takes me to the website for Taylor Made Golf products. lol. not sure. Will have to figure it out to use it though. Update: I was able to get in contact with the manufacturer and they are sending me the missing hardware. ... show more

Do not waste your money!! Just about impossible to setup, poles keep snapping out of the mounting brackets and flip into the water. Luckily I was at the dock and able to retrieve them. No doubt people have lost them in the lake. Even tied to the dock two people were unable setup it up. Anchored out on the water would be even harder if that’s possible. Also one of the Velcro tabs would not close, it has two female pieces. Poor design poor & quality control. ... show more

When trying to install the products attachment brackets to the boat railing three of the eight screws supplied sheared off. When attempting to attach the cover over the frame, I discovered one of the velcro pieces sewn into the cover was coming unraveled. The center support pole that installs across the top and runs from front to back is supposed to have a pocket for the pole to fit into sewn into the cover at each end; mine only had one pocket making the center support useless. Got in touch with Taylor Made customer service to resolve the issue. They arranged for pick up of the defective product and said a new one would be sent right out to replace it....... over three weeks later and I still haven't received it. I think it will serve its purpose once I ever get the darn thing and it's not defective ! ... show more

Once up it’s great. Had to buy poles as the ones sent snapped on first use. Poles were twice as wide as boat so difficult to set up but once up works great
