Description

Beautifully Designed Acoustic-electric Cutaway from Taylor The Taylor 214ce Plus represents all that has made Taylor a trusted and sought-after instrument: impeccable design, fine appointments, and signature Taylor tone. This Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric features a solid Sitka spruce top with layered Indian rosewood back and sides for a blending of full low end, crisp high end, and a balanced midrange. A mahogany neck with African ebony fingerboard offers incredible playability and response, and with a deep Venetian cutaway, you can easily access those higher notes up the fingerboard. To translate beautifully natural acoustic tone, the 214ce is equipped with ES2 electronics, a favorite among guitarists here at Sweetwater.Taylor’s Expression System 2 delivers incredibly natural sound with full dynamics Traditionally, acoustic-electric guitars have employed under-saddle piezo transducers, but Taylor has discovered a better way. • Taylor
Best guitar for beginners, not cheap but very affordable. Don’t waste your time buying $200 $300 $400 guitars like I did, just buy this and you will be totally satisfied with play quality and sound. I play mine several times a week.

  • Fantastic tone and action by Taylor
I hadn't heard of the Alamo Music Center before but now I'm looking forward to visiting so I can thank them for the sticker and extra picks they sent along with this beautiful piece of musical art. The Taylor soundbox is unique and crystal clear. The 214 offers deep tone with easy action and the new electronics are hardly invasive or clunky, just simple. The Aero case is tough and definitely travel worthy. There were only a few of these left when I bought it so I encourage anyone pondering at this modest price to pick it up. ... show more

  • My favorite Guitar
The media could not be loaded. I now have had this guitar for over a year now & she is my favorite one I own & play. My guitar playing journey all began when I bought this Taylor 214ce Plus that I named "Princess Butterscotch"

  • Great feel and sound!
The media could not be loaded. Love the guitar and the sound. Taylor lives up to its expectation! The guitar came with an aero case, which was cherry in too for me. Great for shipping aswell! These guys at ALAMO were very responsive! Would def be a returning customer!

  • Taylor's are Beautiful
The media could not be loaded. I would have given this 5 stars but I thought the packaging could have been better. Especially with such valuable content. I don't normally buy guitars through Amazon. I only did it because I was able to get it interest free. I was fortunate that the guitar was perfect. Beautiful sound, action was perfect. The case though not hard shell is nice and keeps the guitar protected. I'm not gigging anywhere right now so the case is fine for now. I included a video of me playing a Diddy I wrote about my dog just for fun. But you get to here what the guitar sounds like. ... show more

  • Sounds great, but it's clearly marked up just based on the name and sound.
The guitar sounds amazing. Better than any other acoustic I've ever played. The look of it is okay. Not bad, but not eye candy either. You have to press down pretty hard when playing higher notes (I've been playing for 17 years and have definitely felt better at a cheaper price point). The case looks great on the outside, but terrible on the inside. You can definitely tell it's cheaply made compared to other cases. The material is rough, there's no compartment at the headrest, and there are pins sticking out of the bottom of it. ... show more
