  • WHY CARBON FIBER - Nova Go SP1 is made of carbon fiber composite material, which means it's impervious to temperature and humidity change. Taking it on travels, to chill on a beach with the hot bright sun up above, or to a hiking trip deep in a mountain, or even further to shoot some beautiful Instagram posts in a snow land, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar would stay stable, with no warp nor cracks. That's the definite edge of carbon fiber guitars.
  • WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING - The absolute differentiator of this guitar is that its equipped with the SP1 pickup system. It gets you reverb, delay, and fusion effects on your bare guitar, unplugged. No pedals nor amps are needed. Theres a little speaker inside the body of the guitar, which produces these effects sound, and it can be also used for music playback via Bluetooth.
  • A PRODUCTIVITY WORKHORSE - SP1 pickup system not only allows you to have tons of fun unplugged. But if you plug it into an amp or PA, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar becomes a workhorse for you to gig with. Whats more, SP1 comes with USB On-The-Go connectivity. You can plug it directly into your phone or PC to record any creative ideas without needing an audio interface.
  • SOLID BUILD & EASY TO PLAY - The body of this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric Guitarra is 1/2 sized (35 in.), molded all in one piece, meaning that the bridge is a cohesive part of the top, not glued upon like traditional acoustic guitars. It would never snap or fall off. Meanwhile, we've put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Also, the Zero Fret feature is added for smoother tuning.
  • PRACTICAL ACCESSORIES - This Nova Go SP1 acoustic-electric carbon fiber guitar comes with a gig bag, and the packaging is colorful and delicately designed. You can send it straight as a gift to someone you love or care about. A hexagon wrench is also included for you to adjust the string action. A USB Type-C cable is there to charge the pickup system, system update, and digital output. Weve also included an instrument cable in the package.

  • Sweet little guitar
Color: Black
This is a quality little guitar. I stress the "little" part because the diminutive size can make playing some chords difficult, especially if you are using a capo up the neck beyond the third fret, but that is a consequence of the size, not the quality of the guitar. I also note what I think of as a "ukulele" tone, so don't expect a large "wood body tone" from this small carbon fiber instrument. The tone is a bit between plastic and wood, being more resonant than plastic, but not as rich as wood. That said, overall this may well be an advantage with this guitar as it can be played privately without disturbing others. The effects are interesting and fun to play around with. Adjusting the tone could be better handled in the app, but the process is adequate. I would like to see more places for user-generated tones, as I believe there is only one slot or tone setting for user-created effects. I bought this primarily as a travel guitar so I can take it when I fly, but find I use it at home for a quiet practice. Plugging it into an amp or PA produces a quality sound. As temperatures have dropped this winter and the relative humidity has tanked in the house, I find I use this more when playing outside my music room which has better humidity control. I like that I don't have to worry about the low humidity damaging the guitar. Overall, this is a fine little guitar and if you are looking for a smaller instrument for a child, or don't mind the shorter neck (which compresses the distance between frets) this is the travel guitar for you. I got it on a sale, but even at its regular price it is a good value and I would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • Set this up correctly and you have the perfect beater.
Color: Black
(I played music for a living for around 15 years, and have played guitar for 30. My main guitars are a 30 yo Larrivee and a newer Breedlove. I'm not claiming expert knowledge, but I can speak with some confidence in this review) 1. This is NOT a gigging guitar. You CAN gig with it, and I'm sure lots of people will, especially in a pinch. It gets muffled with vigorous/overly-hard strumming, and the electronics aren't exactly made for your local sound-guy to navigate around. It'd be fine for forgoing the effects and only using the line-out/peddle board, I guess... or for intimate gigs using one amp & one mic. It played passably right out of the box. The sound was bright, despite it's size and form, and it stayed in tune. But the intonation needed tweaking and the action felt uneven and high. 2. ***I took it to my local luthier for a $45 set-up and now it plays like a much nicer guitar.*** From video reviews and my own experience, I get the feeling that ALL of these could use a truss-rod and fretboard adjustment. Considering its current $150 acoustic-only price-point, I think that's a steal. 3. I bought this as a "present for my daughter." In reality, I wanted a guitar I could leave in-and-around our sun-drenched house without worrying about damage & warping. It lives outside of its case (which is a good case, btw), mostly on the living room couch. We have floor-to-ceiling windows with a LOT of direct sunlight and this puppy doesn't flinch. It stays in-tune. 4. It doesn't feel all that small, especially if you have experience with electric guitars. 5. I'm especially tickled with the on-board effects and amplification. I'm not going to lie, I think it's an extremely clever way to reel new-players in, especially kids. The main presets are straight amplification, Reverb, Delay, Chorus... but you can download an app and open up a pandoras box of effects that are pretty straightforward. 6. All in all, I think the value is definitely there for both versions of this guitar. I chose the acoustic-electric one because I like being able to play/write with those effects without having to plug in anything. The USB-C charging port is extremely convenient. And I don't find myself worrying about damaging it, even with the kids knocking it around. 7. I think this is a PERFECT gift for kids who are interested in starting to play. It is very affordable, and when/if they do lose interest, you have a 1/2-sized juggernaut that can't be killed, plays well, and doesn't takeover whatever it's resting on. ... show more

  • Short and sweet
Color: Purple
Aesthetics: I chose the purple acoustic plus. Very neat, delicate finish, I don't think it looks like a toy, the finishes on the neck, the tuning pegs and the frets show it. Sound: At first it seemed a bit metallic to me, but maybe it's because I'm used to mahogany, when I ordered a carbon fiber guitar I knew it would have a sound that I'm not familiar with, different. But different isn't bad. After playing with it for a while, tuning it to my liking, etc. I can say that it sounds pretty good, although I prefer it for fingerpicking and chords, when it comes to strumming that metallic sound does predominate, which as a person used to wood, doesn't quite convince me. Likewise, I think that if you buy the acoustic plus you do it mainly for the playability of the effects, and that can be seen better in chords and fingerpicking, so in my opinion, the sound is fine. Playability: The best thing about this guitar is that the effects are very fun to use. I still haven't finished learning everything I can do with it and how to combine them, but from the first moment I had no problems connecting it to the cell phone app via Bluetooth. It's a 1/2 guitar, which if you're part of the short and sweet team, you'll appreciate. Accessories: It came with everything it promised. The only thing I thought was the case was different from what I had seen in some videos, but I contacted the seller and he explained that in 2023 they had changed to the current case (padded, fabric). It's also very comfortable and apparently resistant. Internal speaker issue: It's an internal speaker, not an amplifier, it comes with a cable so you can connect it to an amplifier. I understand that the internal speaker serves the function of increasing the sound of the effects, effects that the guitar includes and you don't have to be with any cables. It's practical and fun. I'm not a professional guitarist, I bought it for its aesthetics and playability of effects in addition to its small size. So far I'm very happy with my guitar, and it's really nice. I look at it and I want to play with it. I use it and, for the moment, I recommend it. ... show more
