I haven't installed it yet; but being a contractor and with proper planning ahead of time .... you really should have a Reset outlet that's installed into wall so the cord on the mirror has a place to plug into, that way it's not being bump out by the mirror on wall .

I bought this for myself for my half bathroom i love that it has 3 settings and it's bright enough for me to style my hair and do my face.
