I installed this LED mirror to modernized my guest bath. Added a recessed light receptacle for it, connected to vanity light. It’s superb. I like the dimming & anti-fog controls. At the selling price, it’s a great value. I contacted the seller CS via Amazon CS for additional brackets (it came with 2). The seller CS responded within 3 minutes & offered to ship additional brackets. I may not need them, as two seems to be holding the mirror adequately, but truly appreciate the kindness of the seller’s CS. My mirror arrived without any damage and seemed well packed. It's a little smaller than the dimensions that are listed on Amazon (about a half an inch in each dimension) and its depth is a tiny bit more than one might expect. Be careful if you are hanging this over a sink as there might not be enough clearance if you want this mirror really tight to the top of your vanity. As others have mentioned, it's bright as an auxiliary light source, but definitely not bright enough to light a room on its own. I have it paired with two can lights and it works well in that environment. My bathroom has no fan, and the defrost feature still works perfectly. My biggest complaint is definitely with the wiring. It seems to feature some low voltage cheap-o wiring and a bizarrely cheap-looking plug that you can use. I tried hard wiring this thing and ultimately decided that it didn't seem durable enough to bury in a j-box. I didn't want to compromise anything electrically. So I used the janky plug, but that's still not really making me feel like this is a secure operation. However, I'm glad I can check on it regularly. Pretty much like everything. Installation really takes two people, otherwise all is good. ( Please overlook the patches in the wall around the edges as they have nothing to do with the mirror and were caused by the removal of a larger wall attached mirror). I have had this mirror now for about one year and it is very nice. My title "durable" relates to the fact that this mirror was knocked over while resting on the bedroom floor leaned up against our bed while awaiting installation. It landed on my contractors tool bag and I thought for sure it was destroyed, but it did not break or crack or damage in any way! The first mirror I ordered (from another source) was never delivered as it was damaged in the crate!! We really enjoy the mirror and the lighting is on a separate source than our basic lighting. It's nice in the night if we need to turn on the light but want a soft and low light so as not to light up the whole area! I highly reccommend. ... show more

I purchased my 17 months ago and the are both broken. $500 down the drain. Now I am left w 2 $ 100 pretty mirrors. Not my intention when I fell in love with these. I saw these first at my girlfriends house when she was doing her b room. She purchased them in a mother location ( same price). I was enthralled by them. I knew I had to have them. 2 months later I started my b room and I purchased them. Both of my girlfriends mirrors stopped working after 22 months. I contacted the vendor letting them know what’s happened. I did not expect much. To my surprise he ask me to send photos of me trying to put the light on and of. I sent those photos asap! I was so encouraged. I did not expect new mirrors. I never heard back from them. This made me mad. They should have contacted me back and said they have no answer. Something customer servicey. I will give the vendor a OMG! Customer service. Customer service! I am here to tell you I know I’d two people, my girlfriend and myself who have purchased this mirror a total of 4 and none of them lasted past 22 months. Don’t buy it because it’s gorgeous. Its a bad expensive buy. It will damage your wall if you want to take it down because it is an electrical installation. Bad, expensive and a wall damaging installation. Don’t buy. You’ll be sorry. The media could not be loaded. The mirrors looks beautiful. the light is not very bright. You will need another light on the wall, as being right in front of the mirror, the face doesn't get enough light. The doors don't close properly, they remain open and they make a loud noise. The mirror edge is not perfect. I gave it 3 stars because of these 3 issues. It takes a lot of work to install the mirrors and money to pay the electrician, I am not returning them. I will contact the seller to find out how can I fix the doors. ... show more

I've had 4 of these now. Not because they're great but because they kept breaking and I had to return them. The electronics have to be the most cheaply made light fixture on the planet. One of them wouldnt turn on right out of the box, another one would turn on but made this terrible buzzing noise that could be heard from another room, and another one is doing the same thing but the noise is not as loud so we're just dealing with it. Out of the 4 mirrors we've received, only 1 works well. Also, they are very difficult to install. They don't come with a template, and for a mirror that isn't going to be glued... a template really should be included. I know it sounds dumb, "why don't you just measure properly". Well the mount holes are rather small and pretty far apart, so if your measurement is off by a couple millimeters then its not happening and you have to put more holes in your wall. And finally, the electrical cable is too short. It's like 2 feet. If you're hooking it up to wiring in your wall then that's probably not a big deal, but if you're planning on plugging it into outlet then you'll have to extend it. PS: If you're wondering "is it bright enough..." the answer is no. You'll always need another light source in your bathroom. Maybe if it was only a small bathroom that was either sink+toilet or sink only, but it's not bright enough for any bathroom that includes a tub/shower. ... show more
