    • Best scope for the money
For an airgun, you can't beat this scope. Image is exceptional. Bright and clear with a large FOV. No perceptible distortion. The AO goes down to truly as short as 7.5 yards at full 9x. Image is still clear and without too much parallax at only 4-5 yards, at lower magnification. Very few AO scopes will adjust this close. The AO is adjusted by turning the front bell, and the adjustability is crazy good for short range shooting. On some scopes the AO yardage markings are so close together they get finicky to adjust. The marks are quite far apart on this scope, and the bell moves smoothly without too much or too little pressure. Just right. Same with the zoom; secure, but easy to adjust on the fly. The sighting turrets have a great, consistent click. The caps are threaded nicely. They screw on/off quick and smooth without fumbling around. For a basic scope with a basic duplex reticle, this scope is great. ... show more

    • Really nice air rifle scope - one of the best for the money!
Tasco has been making reasonable-quality scopes for a reasonable price for decades, and this scope is a great example. Well finished with great features like fog-proof, coated glass, adjustable eyepiece, wide-range parallax correction, and air-rifle rated. Amazing how many shooters don't know that mounting a regular scope on an air rifle is a disaster in the making because of the air-rifle's dual-recoil (both rearward AND forward) characteristic. This scope may not be your best choice if you're in the shooting club's air rifle match with a $500 payday, but for whacking groundhogs off the back porch it works just fine. ... show more

Got this for my son's ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB rifle. The optics are clear and holds zero nicely. The biggest complaint is that if he wants to shoot closer than 30 feet, the target is blurry while the reticle is clear and crisp. It almost has too much reach for typical backyard setups. We did have to get taller rings (Modkin 1" Weaver Scope Rings 2.1" high) to clear the iron sights as the rings that came with it are too short. Even still we cannot use the iron sights. Would almost need a 2.5" tall set of rings and a cheek riser. Overall, the build quality is great and we are happy with it. ... show more

    • Great economical scope
Just put this on my Gamo Swarm WHISPER .22 as the scope that comes with it wasn’t really all that great. Took me a little bit to get it zeroed in as I’m a bit challenged some days. Got it and it works really well for me. A friend, who is an avid gun man, was impressed as well. Great scope for the money considering it is for an air rifle. ... show more

    • A Hidden Gem????? Maybe! Why such a price increase??
UPDATE: Scope is still going strong. However, I find it odd that the price is now $20+ more than what I paid! I was about to purchase another....but NOT for an additional $20! I've noticed this with several products... give them a good review, and suddenly the prices jump way up. For the $20 more I can buy a UTG scope....so why would I buy the Tasco again??? INITIAL REVIEW: I recently got into air guns/rifles, and until I wrecked the first scope and did some research, was unaware of how incredibly harsh airguns are on scopes.... look it up for yourself. Anyway, after destroying a few scopes, I stumbled on this one and decided to try it. For the price, I have been impressed. I've had it on a Gamo Whisper since arriving, and have put about 500 rounds through the gun with this scope on it....so far not a single issue. Holds zero, POI does not wander, and nothing has broken or come loose. We'll see if it continues to hold up, and I will update this review as needed. As for now, this has proven a good product for the price for air gun use. ... show more

Unit received is not brand new. Opened box then just re sealed. Reticle also crooked. Very disappointed as i expect a brand new unit. Scratches found on the objective lens ring. Seem to be a refurbished unit being sold as brand new. As for the scope itself. The scope is very bright and clear. Exterior also very well made. I would have given this 5 stars if not for the concerns stated above. Tasco aftersales support is very poor. All robots amswering emails and no one reads your email and concern. Thank you to amazon for helping me process a refund. Using this for a break barrel 1000fps with gas piston. Will update if the scope can handle the recoil. ... show more

    • Decent optics for the money
What I really like about this scope is that the diopter adjustment worked perfectly. I wear glasses, and this is very important to me. The scope was easy to zero and all adjustments seemed precise and moved smoothly, including the AO. The reticle isn't the finest, but it is definitely 'good enough', and there is no discernible change in impact point with a change in magnification, at least out to 30 yds. Time will tell if it can stand up to the recoil of my Gamo break-barrel, but so far, so good. If all is A-ok after 500 shots I'll give it 5 stars. ... show more
