Compared to titanium than not as light . But the cut outs and how thin they are makes the weight pretty lightweight. I got this thing about heavy spoons, knives and folks. I just don't like them. They are easy yo clean and aren't too big or small. I wrote this review because the model changed. Also there were no pics of this model with the unposhished handles and polished parts that go in your mouth. The knife won't really work well for cutting steak but is good for spreading butter on a roll. I like them. Also of note this set does not come with a bottle opener. Whoever wrote the listing forgot to change a lot of info. Help this helps. 🙂 ... show more

We love this set enough that we purchased another set. I originally purchased this set as an addition to our Girl Scout backpack, but quickly moved it to my lunchbox for work. The silverware is a nice size and feels like our regular home sets. Although it's heavier than other hiking sets I've seen, I didn't find it overly heavy. The silverware fits well in the case. In fact, the case has enough stretch that I added an old Tupperware orange peeler to each set. I would and have recommended this set to others. ... show more

As noted by other reviewers, the case zipper was broken and there was no bottle opener included. I don't have time to return, as I'm planning to give this away tomorrow - but am disappointed.... The utensils themselves are a good quality and size plus the case seems sturdy - except for the zipper. Too bad. The case is usable with the broken zipper, just not as good as it could be. ... show more

This is a pretty good silverware set. I bought them to bring to work so I don't have to waste so many plastic spoons and forks. There straw was a bonus didn't really want it but it's nice to have.
