I'm very picky about coats. I've own a few of beautiful quality which I purchased from Dillard's back in the day for when I used to wear suits to work. Now for the first time in many years I find myself in need of a dresser coat and was really struggling to find something. I couldn't be happier with this choice. First, I love the dark rich gray color and the fabric of the coa, almost like a dense wool. It has a silky lining inside which makes it easier to slide over your clothes and not have your sleeves bunch up inside. It's heavy and warm, since I threw it on over my pj's this morning to go fetch my dog in the yard. It's currently 31 degrees outside and I stayed very comfortable. Yes, it's a little oversized for a large but that adds to the flexibility when sitting or driving with the coat on. The arms are a bit long but I'm okay with that as there is no gap when wearing gloves or putting your hands in the deep pockets. I'm 5'4" and the length hits me about mid-thigh. The rounded pockets and hood certainly give the coat a casual almost sporty look instead of a more tailored and formal look but for me, the style works for my job. This is the longest review I've ever written because I'm that happy with this coat. And no wrinkles straight out of the package. This coat is absolutely perfect. I agonized over the different options because I’m only buying one coat. I also agonized over the different sizes after reading reviews. I finally decided on this coat because it had the pea coat look and I thought the hood could be useful. I wear a large and am a size 12. I didn’t want to buy the wrong size and have to return it. I crossed my fingers and ordered the large. Well, the coat that arrived exceeded all my expectations. Oddly, it wasn’t even wrinkled. I put it on and didn’t want to take it off. This jacket is perfect. I am 5'2" and I weigh 90 lb. The size I got is a medium and it's the perfect size for me. If I got a size smaller I would not be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath the jacket because it would be too small. If you want to wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath the jacket I would advise getting a size bigger than what you normally would get. It's a great value for your money and I got it in Gray which goes with everything. I would highly recommend getting this jacket ... show more

I just received this and I could not be happier. Rarely do I find something that fits perfectly. I had been looking for a couple of years for a simple dress coat. Not too warm, but still toasty. Not too heavy. Something I could wear over sweaters. This is just great. It fits me to a tee (which I never seem to find - I am 5'4" 140 pounds and I purchased a Medium). Nice deep pockets. I bought this coat because I had absolutely nothing ‘fancy’ to wear with my new clothes. I have recently lost over 130 pounds, so I am revamping my wardrobe. Coats in the stores are $200 plus and I refuse to pay it. Ordered my coat on a Friday, and it arrived on Sunday. It fits very well. I am 5’6” and 170 pounds. The coat is nice and heavy. I can close it with no problem,but I should also mention that I’m not top heavy. My typical size is 16-18 so the xl fits fine. I like the way it covers a portion of my hands and I love the hood on it. I can tell that it’ll probably pick up everything pretty easily (lint…) so be mindful when brushing up against things. This is a nice coat. Amazon suggested a size too big and I did not care for the green shade. Exchanged for what the size chart says and it fits true to size. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a darker charcoal grey. I would buy this coat if they had charcoal, hunter green navy or a burgundy.
