Nice on demand water heater that is great to add hot water to a place that is too small for a bulky tank water heater. The power draw for this is significant so check that you have adequate amperage coming into your building.

I was not expecting this to work this well, considering the size. It actually performs great. The instillation was pretty easy, if you have some basic knowledge. The instructions were well written. So glad we decided to go with the tankless style. Great buy!

    • Works well, but READ THE SPECS
I say that, about this awesome water heater (and the reason why 4 vs. 5 stars) is because of one of the photos in the product description: It shows it, under what I am assuming is a bathroom sink, without any wiring near. In my small apartment, my bathroom coincidentally has the breaker box. My stove, which is electric, in my kitchen, is the only thing that gets power through that 240V breaker switch. I , thankfully know how to make it work. However, for the average person, myself included, if there is already a hot water source, it is not worth the expense, and or everything it would take to properly install it. That being said, I can think of MANY places/situations where this heater would be wonderful for. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Installation is super easy, if you have some handy skills, instructions a little skimpy. It works, great. Makes hot water like it is supposed to. The problem is it is leaking on the cold water side. Have requested a replacement, will update when that comes and I get it installed. ... show more

    • Very nice. INSTANT hot water
This isn't terribly hard to install if you have a basic knowledge of plumbing and intermediate electric skills. You'll need to connect some water fittings and install a 30a 2 pole breaker. This 30a breaker means it draws a significant amount of power while it's running (14% of the total capacity of many houses). I had to make some concessions to install mine, because of power constraints, and had to switch my other hot water heater so it won't kick on while I'm using this one and the dryer together. ... show more

I got this one for the kitchen sink. It's the farthest hot water source the farthest from the hot water tank. Sometimes it can take several minutes to get hot water in the kitchen. I got this and while I have zero plumbing skills, my mother did birth one and I'm not afraid to ask for his help. He came over today to look it over and see what, if any fittings and supplies he'd need to bring to install. He said this should take no more than an hour and looks pretty straight forward and he'll pop it in when he's here in a few weeks. I can't wait. I love that it will fit behind the fridge and will be not invisible, but won't mean we have to empty out under the sink every time we want to adjust it. I'm excited and if the little brother has decided it's worth his time and effort to install, that's as good as a heavenly blessing. He won't install cheap materials. Well done EcoTouch!     • Nice sleek looking water heater that will easily fit under workshop sink
I need to say up front that this review is prior to installation. When I saw this I thought of my brother's workshop in MN and also that when using the sink he has the water was freaking ice cold. We had a pottery studio in MI and we had a sink. I added one of these small heaters and it worked great and fit under the sink which was the only location available. I never used it to take a shower so don''t know how it would have worked for that but for warming up the water so at least you could wash things without your hands freezing it worked great. I expect this will too. It has a solid feel to it and looking at the instructions I can tell it will be easy to install and operate just like the other tankless heater. If it does what that one did I will be happy I got this for him but because of Vine Reviewer rules I cannot send this to him for awhile. All I can currently say is I'm happy I got my brother something that looks like it will work great for our purpose and I know it will fit near or under his sink. I am only giving four stars until I get the real lowdown in the near future. ... show more
