Tankless Water Heater Electric 3000W LED Display With Remote Control I installed this at the kitchen sink so I didn't have to run the hot water for a while to get it to get hot. Installation was a breeze. You will have to purchase additional components to get this installed. It does not come with anything other than the unit and remote. Make sure you read the instructions as power requirements are listed there for the power level you plan to set this at. I wasn't able to get instant hot water, but it's much faster than without it. The LED display shows the temperature the water is at, the temperature you set it at and the water flow. It does not keep the water hot. It's starts to heat the water the moment the flow starts. The provided remote is actually nice to have. Keeps me from having to crawl under the sink to make adjustments when needed. Other than changing the power level. It has 5 different power levels with 5 being the highest and requiring a 220v outlet. That is also the default setting, so make sure to change it if you are running on a 110v outlet. ... show more

I need a new water heater in my RV. This one is not specifically made for RV's, and it looks like it does not heat much water so I am checking if it will be worth putting it in. I wouldn't try without an electrician.

First of all you need a dedicated 30 or 40 amp breaker in your home/RV for this. This unit comes with a plug but I am going to have to cut it off and rewire it to a breaker direct. It will need to be professionally installed if you do not know how to wire a circuit. It could be used for a large RV application as well with the plug if you have the right setup. I have no clue why this unit has a remote control but ok it has a remote. It appears to be a solid construction but only a lot of time and use will tell. Fortunately this is a very low priced one so I wanted to test the waters before making the jump to other parts of our home . ... show more

This tiny water heater is 25 amps which is more than most breakers that you will have installed. If you don't have a 25 amp spot with a regular plug in you will need an electrician to come and install for you. I was a bit disappointed but mostly my own fault. I am using this in a small rv and like that it is tankless. It states that you need at least a 30 amp breaker so be sure that you can supply that before ordering. This feels solid and I wish that I could look inside to see if the tank is plastic or metal. Not sure that I need a remote for this but there is one. If this fails prematurely I will stop back and amend the review. This does heat well. My words of wisdom: All water heaters will leak at some point. Not some but all will leak. I protect my property with some way to catch any leaks like on this I will put a small plastic catch vessel with a drain below it if it fails. ... show more
