I don’t do self-tanning products because I always mess them up. Even the Jergens lotion that everyone loves because it’s “easy.” I haven’t had time this summer to hit the beach, and even if I did I’m concerned about my skin, so I looked into self-tanning lotions and saw this had high reviews. I can see why, it’s very easy to use, it smells nice, and the after-smell isn’t as bad as the other brands I’ve tried. The color is very natural and develops fairly quickly: after an hour or so I saw a hint of color and by the next morning (I applied it before bed) I looked like I’d had some sun. I will say you need to massage the lotion in thoroughly, the first time I applied it I massaged for a while and it came out evenly. The next time I got a little lazy and didn’t do a good job so there was some uneven spots (but it wasn’t straight up brown like other tanning mishaps I’ve done lol). It comes out as a good color. It's an easier way to self tan out of all the methods I've tried. It's pretty user friendly but you do have to pay attention to the way you apply it (circular and evenly). Overall I do like the product. The scent smells like raspberries? I'd recommend it fo beginners.

This is the first tanning product I’ve ever bought because I am so pale and thought I would look totally botched. This one seemed approachable because it is a lotion instead of a mousse so it is lighter and easier to spread in a thin layer. The first time I used it I barely put any on and didn’t leave it very long and nearly thought it didn’t work, but I tried again putting more on and leaving it a lot longer and it definitely works. You can have a lot of control over how strong of a tan you want with how much you put on and how long you leave it. It’s really easy to blend and doesn’t leave a lot of lines on hands and ankles. I love the golden finish I get with every use but I’m almost hesitant to use it sometimes because it smells so weird on my skin that I’ll only put it on at night but then my sheets… 🥲🙃

This is the first self tanner I have ever used. I read a lot of reviews on this and other brands. Some reviews mentioned that they did not, but I personally like the smell. I would recommend using it with the special self tanning mitten. I didn’t know that that was a thing or I would’ve started out that way, because even when I washed my hands thoroughly the first few times, I used it I stained my hands. Overall I was able to notice a difference the very first time that I used it and if I use it regularly, I can really notice a difference! Which is exactly what I was looking for! Overall, I really liked it and I would recommend it! Now I just need to get a glove! Because I really think it would take it up a notch to blend it better ... show more

Great product, I have used it before BUT it needs a seal below the lid. This is the second time I have ordered it and it has leaked. I would have returned it, but I needed it for an event so, here we are. Truly, I will not buy any other self-tanning lotion but I BEG the makers to add a seal below the lid. I have lost about 2oz of product between the two deliveries leaking and this stuff isn't cheap. But yeah, AWESOME stuff. I'm pale as a ghost and it gives my mozzarella-stick legs just enough of a glow that it doesn't scare children away. ADD A SEAL thank you. ... show more

I am a self tan connoisseur and have tried all the tanners out there. This gradual lotion is good to throw on the nights i don’t feel like applying a full self tan but want some color. Color doesn’t transfer for clothes or sheets and develops within a few hours
