I love that this is so easy to use and that it pronounces the words in both English and Spanish. I bought 2 different versions so I could compare, but this is the one I’ll be giving to my granddaughter. The other one I bought was the Joycat. Although it includes the Spanish spelling of the English word the device only pronounced the word in English. My granddaughter can’t read yet so that’s no good and even if she could read, she still wouldn’t know how to say the Spanish word correctly. I think this is a wonderful educational toy! Some of the reviews said the cards were saying the wrong words so I tested almost half the cards and it never got one wrong! Another review said that it had the word “ass” In with body parts, but thankfully, mine did not. I also love that this toy is rechargeable rather than battery operated. Very neat product! Reminds me of a tamagochi but for this contraption you have to physically insert a single card and when you do insert the card it will read the card to your child telling the child what is on the card and the cards already come in great detail full color, pictures and words to mimic and study by. The media could not be loaded. Some of the cards have strange labels in my opinion, for example wash basin? That’s a sink to me. School bag should say backpack. I haven’t gone through every single one but I bet there’s more. The voices speaking the words are good, nice and clear. The music option is cute, even though they changed the alphabet song (lmnop become separated and weird). It took me a hot min to figure out how to get the language back to bilingual when my daughter accidentally changed it to English only so I added a video to share how it clicked for me. Kind of pricey, wish it came with a carrying pouch like the competitors. Cards are not super durable, will get worn out quickly if used frequently. Some are a little bent and do not slide easily in. I highly recommend this for those who wish to teach their child a new language or at least have them acclimated to various language encounters. The unit is small and compact. I ordered this for a 14 month old who is just learning to talk. I wanted to help her learn Spanish too. Some of the phases and words are very advanced for a toddler. I'm hoping this will last. The cards are a bit flimsy. I was disappointed by the packaging, it looks like it has been opened and the cards were all out of order. This is a Christmas gift, so I'm glad I checked it before giving it to the family. It's a great concept but it could be better. I don't recommend it for a young child. ... show more

My daughter saw these on Amazon and when I asked what to get the Twinkies (twins) she suggested these. I got one in each color and they both love them. They are learning words in English and Spanish! A great learning tool and fun for them!!
