I travel a lot and typically pack light enough to use only a carry-on size. I wanted a smaller suitcase to avoid any baggage fees on some of the budget airlines. I also was looking for something light for train and bus travel. The small 18 inch carryon is perfect! I was easily able to fit 5 days of clothing in this bag without using compression cubes. I didn’t even need to force it closed. For longer flights, it easily holds all the things I need in-flight. I have not tried it under the seat yet but it should fit. Taking the wheels on and off is not difficult. I had trouble getting one off but I had not pushed it on all the way. Once I got it to click into place, I could take it off easily. The wheels move smoothly and go over bumps well. Spare wheels are also available on Amazon! I have already ordered a set because it is only a matter of time before I lose one (or misplace them all)! The built in lock is great. On trains and buses, or if I decide to check it on the plane, it is handy to be able to lock the bag without needing a separate lock. Several reviewers complained about the handle. It seems quite sturdy for a carry-on and locks into place well. I have no concerns about it. It is very light to carry! I used this luggage for the first time for a 3 day trip to Miami. I flew down on Southwest so I left the wheels on it and just used it as a carry-on because they don't charge for those. I wanted to test it in Frontiers bag sizer so I stopped at one after my flight. Wheels popped off very easily and the bag fit perfectly, no shoving or issues. I flew back home on Frontier, popped off the wheels right before boarding and was prepared for the monitor at the gate next to the bag sizer to have me place it into the sizer but she looked at the luggage which has the brand beautifully imprinted onto the luggage and waved me through. I asked her if she wanted me to put it into the sizer and she stated, "No we know that brand fits so you're good." The bag is great quality and really holds a lot. I had my hiking beach chair in it along with 2 swimsuits, a cover up, flip flops, 2 pair of pajamas, 3 outfits, underclothing, cosmetics, my beach bag and my miscellaneous bag with my portable charger, selfie stick sunblock and many more items in it. I fly to Miami on Frontier usually twice a month and had previously used a shoulder bag but this suitcase is so much better. I ordered the first version and I don’t normally write reviews but the smaller version is great! I’m not sure about the larger ones and how versatile they are when considering international versus domestic travel along with the possibility of having flights through different airlines… What I can say though is if traveling within the US this DOES seem to perfectly fit the standards for travel for carry ons. Just remember I’m reviewing the smaller version. There’s a lot of room and the wheels snap on and snap off quickly. There’s a bag for those to be stored in along with plenty of room inside. What’s not necessarily me turned is that there is also a TSA approved combo lock built into the bag! Super convenient! Excited to use this soon! ... show more

It worked great for a trip on both Spirit and Frontier. It fit into the Spirit bag sizer with a bit of wiggle room. It dropped straight down and came right back up without any force. While boarding Frontier I wasn’t asked to measure it. One of the wheels occasionally lost contact with the ground and would spin freely. There were a few moments where I felt the telescoping handle seems to be delicate. I would caution anyone to not lift the bag off the ground while packed by the sliding handle. ... show more

Like - Easy pop on and off wheels Like- Easy carry handles on 2 sides Like -Acknowledged by airport without placing in personal case, based on wheels were off. Dislike -minor paint coat damage, could be from my handling or basic airport handling procedures. FYI: Spirit @ my airport was picky about 2 personals, including a computer bag and Take Off Luggage, I had room in Take Off luggage to put everything, but on my way back I was not as fortunate to fit all , but I remembered a TIP, I purchased a recycled bag from Hudson News @ airport for .49 cents to carry what I couldn't fit and was able to board with 2 personals! ... show more
