I've ordered several different brands of compression shirts. This one works BUT you will need to several sizes. Let me explain. I wear a large shirt. 16.5" collar. But in order for this to work I had to order a medium. HOWEVER if you wear a larger collar +17" a large might work. Just order your size plus a size smaller. Don't wash im machine. Let it soak over night in warm(not hot) distilled water. Soak for 30min. Empty water and replace with new warm water. Repeat until clean. Do not use bleach. It will loose elasticity and not compress. I weigh about 330 lb and I bought a 4XL, I'm trying to lose weight but I just wanted to look a little better so I bought this to help tuck things in a bit. I was really surprised but it pulled everything in pretty tight and it wasn't uncomfortable. I'm happy I bought it and as I get smaller I will probably try a smaller size. Its got a nice fit, I bought two different sizes. Get it in your shirt size. I thought a smaller one would "compress" more. All it did, was have my "man boobs" hang out the arm hole, and pinch against my arm pit.. after few months, the bottom threads/hem are coming undone. I'm very pleasantly surprised by this shirt. It's very strong and only has so much give. It's a bit hard to get in and out of, but it really works. I recently had a spinal fusion and I have a small tummy, this helps pull everything up and closer to my body so that my weight does not pull forward on my spine. I really like this garment. I bought the shirt after reading a lot of positive reviews, most of them. And based on that, I decided to go for it. Some people said it was super hard to put it on, but for me it was super easy, not hard at all. As soon as I received the shirt and saw it, I knew it was going to be kind of loose, not exactly, but I was expecting much more compression. I'm 6'1" and 215, usually wear XL on my shirts, so decided to order the L, but is not enough. I'm going to have to send this one back and order a size M. Another thing, it is loose on the bottom edge and it doesn't stay around your hips, after a while it was rolled around my waist. On the positive side, it is comfortable although you can start feeling kind of hot after a couple of hours, because it doesn't breath that much, but is not something that's going to make you stand in front of the air conditioned. Every person is different, but if you want my advice and if you really want to feel the compression for real, as it is supposed to be, I would tell you to go 2 sizes down of your regular one, that's what I'm going to do. I've purchased several compression shirts from Walmart all the way through to Spanx. These are the best hands down. The price is reasonable, the material doesn't pinch your skin or pull your body hair. The design is different than most and the cross sections are sheer like depicted but the material is breathable and doesn't cause you to sweat like other compression shirts.     • Very uncomfortable and looks ridiculous

The mesh part of the tank is very scratchy and uncomfortable. On top of that, you’d never want to get caught taking off your shirt and being seen wearing this tank underneath. The mesh is strange and makes it look like you’re a dude wearing ladies undergarments underneath.
