We have not had them long enough to comment on their durability yet. I bought these four months ago, and I feel so much better about how well they are holding and giving me support inside my bathtub. These were easy to install, and are amazingly secure - you wouldn’t think suction cups would hold this well, but these certainly seem to. They’ve kept me from falling more than once, and show no sign of slipping or coming loose.

We put the TALI Shower Grab Bar in our 1980's shower. It kept falling down. We ended up applying a thin layer of antibiotic ointment to the areas where the suction cups would be affixed to the tile. It created a seal for the suction. Bar has not fallen again. I imagine any petroleum based ointment will work. ... show more

I was trying to get help with the problem I came across to with this product but couldn’t find how. Those holders are really good and help my elderly parents to get in and out to and from the shower. But one suction part on one of the holders is constantly getting loose even though I have placed them on the clean and even tile. I am checking and resuction that part every time my parents are going to take a shower and I am just worrying that one day one of them might fall because of that malfunctioning .
