For best performance charge completely before using. When the battery is connected to the power cable: Charging = solid / constant / not blinking Fully Charged = no light / LED is off Error = blinking / LED is flashing (Error typically occurs if the charger is not the correct voltage, 5V) 12V port does not charge the battery, it only powers the camera SKU: BAT-LBC-R

FYI, The battery does not recharge by the solar panel. You have to plug it in with the cord supplied with it to recharge it.

Charged it up and put the battery to use after it indicated full charge, lasted only a few weeks before it gave out and now it does no longer take a charge. I'll have to see how well the return/exchange process works. Edit: support chat via https://www.revealcellcam.com/support/ worked great, talked to an agent after a few minute wait and I was informed that the battery has specific requirements for the charger (5V/1A) and that modern chargers with fast charging technologies will not work properly with this battery. Turns out each charger that I had tried previously was such a charger, because hey, its 2023. So I tried yet another charger and whaddayaknow, charging light lit up and we are charging! Great battery, lasts a very long time, and is rechargeable, and will keep going strong if you add a solar panel out in the field, I use this for my trail cam, Because my son told me he has used these for a few years, and kept the cams out in the field for two years, without bringing them in to charge, because of the solar panels were able to keep the battery charged, enough to keep the cams running ... show more

These batteries for my application work for me. I don't get a ton of pictures on my Tactacam, but these batteries have lasted for 3 months so far. They don't last as long as the "upper end" AA batteries out there, but let's face it...they don't give those Lithium batteries away these days. I can pull this Lithium pack, replace it with another and be ahead of the game cost-wise rather than tossing out the AA's. Still getting the pictures I want in the woods. So far so good! ... show more

I have three cams and 3 batteries at the time I ordered this one as a backup replacement.(ordered 3, actually). When I plugged it in to charge, the LED light would only flickered, not solid like the others I have charged. It took a few back-and-forth emails over a couple of days, sending videos (first email) before they decided to replace it but replace it at no charge to me they did. I do not regret hanging my hat on Tactacam for my cellular trailcams, nor for buying additional cameras. Their feature set and their service after the purchase are very good. Not perfect but I WILL buy them again if I need a fourth trailcam thanks to their support after the buy. ... show more
