I got this set of tackle boxes so I could standardize on a size/format for easier storage and transport. Clearly I fish, a lot, and therefore I have lots of tackle to organize. I like this set because it has a cool camo coloration with clear tops so I can see right away which box has what I’m looking for. The latches are sure, but not really heavy duty. The internal divisions and removable dividers is a little different from what I’m used to – it’s not fair to say “prefer” but I am struggling trying to figure out how to optimize the storage compartments. The nice thing is that the long slots have many places for the positionable dividers, as small as 1” up to the entire 11”. But the other half is one wide slot. The dividers can only be placed every two inches and the maximum length is limited. Between these two sub-dividing options, though, I think it will work out. The lids are not waterproof by any means, but they are snug enough to keep water out long enough to recover the box if you happen to drop it into the water. The plastic is flexible enough to not break easily but the lids/bottoms are not keyed for alignment when stacking. This lets the stack of boxes slop around in the in the storage bag or slide off each other when stacked. I don’t quite think this is worth a star deduction. For the amount of storage in the four boxes, I think the $27 price is decent. ... show more

These are decent....after having a chance to use these, a few thoughts: *You have to trim all of the insert dividers after you break them away from the other pieces...which a little annoying. This is the first box I've gotten that required this. It doesn't take long, it's just the tiny piece that was connecting it to the other insert dividers, yet it has to be done or they won't fit. *The dividers are not straight. Luckily, once you put the insert dividers in, they align better. There is a ridge on either side of the inserts that keeps the dividers and inserts from separating....which is a good thing otherwise half of the inserts wouldn't stay in place. *The latches work well. These are 100% plastic but so far so good. Overall, these boxes work well for my tackle and would work well for a variety of other storage/organizing needs. They are completely plastic and might not be the most durable tackle boxes, but I knew that before ordering. These are a decent budget option if you are in the market for such a product. ... show more

I picked these up to organize my plethora of tattoo needles into. They come with plenty of dividers to separate each box into a lot of of separate spaces to fit my needles in. These fishing tackle box/organizers are suitable but not the best I've owned. They don't have a water seal, so it won't keep your gear dry. The latches are little cheap too. That having been said, they are priced correctly for what you get.

I ordered this for storing beads and jewelry pieces. I see these boxes as being super versatile for many hobbies and crafts! Years ago I kept two tackle boxes- one for crafting supplies and one for jewelry but the dividers were preset in the boxes. That's my only issue here-- they didn't include instructions on what to do with the dividers so I'm getting ideas from other reviews before I try to do anything with them. The boxes are sturdy and the hinges are good. They open and close easily and fully. I will be using them indoors and don't think they are waterproof but splash resistant possibly. I love the green colour! It's very attractive and spring like. It will be wonderful to have the boxes set up and see everything at a glance through the clear lid! These are billed as tackle boxes. I'm sure they are superb for that, as they have adjustable dividers and can accommodate items of differing lengths and sizes. I use these for sorting all of the randomme screws, nails, nuts, bolts, and miscellaneous electrical components that somehow make their way into my toolbox. Yea, it's annoying to try to find what I want in a grab bag box. The trays stack quite well and have a ruler on top of the cover. The green colour makes it easy to find things and the trays stack perfectly and don't take up much room. The lids also latch, so I can grab these and toss them in my toolbag if I have to go help friends. Other friends have seen these and thought they would work well for their beading or scrapbooking hobbies. These organizer trays probably have a ton of uses beyond fishing. This is a well made tackle/small parts box that is made with an interesting blend of black and neon green plastic, making it sure to stand out in your collection. The adjustable dividers are easy to put in and take out, but you have to be careful when cutting them apart. If you leave any plastic tabs on the edges, the dividers won't slide into place, so it has to be a clean cut. There was no plastic smell and the boxes arrived perfectly clean and individually wrapped. Great quality, interesting design, and fair price = five star item.
