I still need to use them quite a bit before I can tell how good they stand up to long wear. They are doing quite nicely so far. These reeds came in their own plastic holders (like most reeds do), and they are cut and shaped well. They are not top-of-the-line reeds, but then you aren't paying for top-of-the-line reeds either. I haven’t had much luck with buying reeds online as sometimes they can be old and stale. That’s not the case with the SYOS Arcane brand. Right out of the box all five reeds felt of good quality and played well. The sound is smooth and rich giving soft cozy tones that are not overly dramatic but subtle. ... show more
