This was our 1st flirt pole, and I got it because of the extendable rod (to make it easier for me to go on walks with and whip out when needed). My 60lb German shepherd loved chasing it, and we had a lot of fun with it, it is extremely useful to tire her out. However after only a month the top section snapped off. I'm not sure I want to be buying a new stick every month. I'm on the lookout for a better quality one. ... show more

The dogs absolutely love it, and as long as yours know drop it or give after you've praised them for the catch this toy will last a long time. BE SURE TO CHECK THAT THE BOX BRAID HAS A KNOT AT THE END OF IT BEFORE PLAY. We didn't check that before hand and I had to rebraid it a little before adding a knot. Better to be safe then finding yourself in the middle of play with just 4 loose strings ... show more

I am used to swinging around feather teasers for my cat and I thought I would be just as comfortable swing this product around for my dog. It is very heavy and awkward. My puppy, while not able to destroy the rope toy on the end of it yet, was able to chew threw the rope or string that holds the rope toy to the pole so this toy ultimately does not last very long ... show more
