Jeep TJ OEM Wagner light is on the left. The light is quite yellow and dim. The Sylvania is on the right. It’s definitely much whiter light and slightly brighter. Relatively inexpensive and easy to install so I’m satisfied. Don’t expect a dramatic improvement.

    • Better pattern and whiter light
I used these lamps in replacing a set of sealed beam Wagner halogen bulbs on my 74' El Camino. The pattern of the Wagner lamps was very focused and diffuse between on road and road signs which left little illumination for the sides. The interstate lane markings and curbs were difficult to view because of this beam pattern. I considered using a hella conversion kit to H4 lamps, the GE Nighthawk LED, or even go to a HID package; but it seemed like a silly expenditure. I purchased these for less than $20 a piece and installation took maybe 10min with finding my cordless driver. The beam pattern is flatter and more like E-code lights. These bulbs illuminate the curbs side and brush area while still having good central lighting. What I like best about these lights is the flatter cut off instead of over illuminating road signs or wasting candle power on the sky. Properly adjusted, these lamps will update any vehicle using sealed beams without the expense and time of converting to a different style of bulb. These will not illuminate as well as a HID or an H4 conversion with a higher watt bulb. But it will produce a whiter and cleaner light than older sealed beams and focus the light on the areas of the road you need to see. ... show more

    • Low beam failed after 2 hours use: Solved
Headlamp is very bright, has a good beam pattern and sharp cutoff, however reliability is in question. The low beam portion of the light failed after a couple of hours use. It is Sylvana but was manufactured in China. I have requested a warranty return and I will update the post when I have dealt with the seller. I do understand that there is a certain percentage of infant mortality failures for any product and this may not be indicative of the overall product quality. It just sucks when its my purchase. Changed to 5 stars... 08/21/2018 Just talked to Osram (Sylvania) and they will replace the headlight at no cost under their 12 month warrantee. Good customer service from both the seller and Sylvania. As previously stated the headlamp is bright with a good beam pattern and sharp cutoff and a vast improvement over the OEM sealed beams. ... show more

    • Wrong headlight for C-3 Corvette.
Sylvania H6024 does NOT fit a C-3 Corvette. Both C-3 bulbs, low and highbeam, use 5 & 3/4" diameter bulbs. H6024 or H5024 are 7" bulbs. Even though on here it says that it is the correct part fit, it is not. I bought based on this correct Amazon parts match. My fault for not actually going to the car and measuring the bulbs. I do not know how good or bad this H6024 is as I could not use it. It reads like a good product, just not for the C-3 Corvette. One star because I wasted a week on this. Hopefully someone looking for C-3 lowbean headlights will read this one star post and save themselves from ordering any H6024, or H5024 7" lights. ... show more
