Description

SYLVANIA self-ballasted medium, GU24, and candelabra base Micro-Mini Twist compact fluorescent lamps are energy-saving alternatives to incandescent and halogen lamps delivering higher efficacy and longer life. Due to their reduced T2 tube diameter design, Micro-Mini Twists are the smallest CFL lamps available making them suitable for use in more luminaires. Unlike warm incandescent sources, they are available in a variety of color temperatures from warm (2700K) to daylight (6500K) choices with excellent color rendition.

About a year ago, I purchased the Sylvania CFL T2 Twist Light Bulb, 60 W Equivalent, from LEDVANCE. After about 9 months in stock, I used one of the new bulbs to replace a bulb that had burned out. I noticed that the new bulb burned out within 24 to 48 hours. I went through a troubleshooting process until the only conclusion was that the bulbs were all defective. I contacted the company via information on Amazon. To my surprise, they agreed to refund the cost of the whole package of 8 bulbs. I received the check this week. I purchased these before and they came as shown originally. However, today they showed up in a pack of (6) and the other (2) were wrapped in bubble wrap and one was broken and the other never illuminated. A smaller bulb that packs a good punch. What I like about this in comparison to both LED and the classic size CFL is these CFL are smaller in size but still deliver the correct amount of lumens of light. This is perfect for smaller opening fixtures or ones with limited space inside. Also what I like about these when you first turn on from a cold start is they turn on at about 70% light and reach full 100% brightness in about 30 to 45 seconds. This makes all the difference allowing your eyes enough time to adjust when you wake at 2 AM and turn on the hallway light in comparison to LED with blasting 100% full instant blinding brightness, this small warm up time is perfect meanwhile still giving you about 70% to see everything you need to see. The price is also good at $10 for 8 bulbs. These bulbs are being phased out via a new law so get them now before they are gone for good. If you snooze you loose.
