These worked great for cleaning my car. Just remember to buy some claying lube too. I forgot to order some and found out that local car parts stores do not carry the lube. I had to use distilled water instead. that works ok but not great. Also I recommend using this clay in the shade. When I got to panels that were starting to get hot in the sun. I live near a volcano in Costa Rica that spits ash every now and again. The ash is very acidic, so any bit you leave on your vehicle paint will eat thru everything in no time. Clay bars are very expensive here and hard to find, so I bought this 5-pack of bars. I can get 3 uses out of each bar with liberal use of clay lube. Works faster, BUT you have to dunk it in water every minute and use way more lube than you do with other clay bars. Compared it to Meguiars and Mothers, works WAY faster once you get used to dunking it and using so much clay lube- an average of 34 seconds for identically sized sections that took Meguiars 62 seconds on average to do. If it wasn't so sticky and using so much lube, it would be 5 stars. Tip: For storage, store it in an air tight container in water. Came kinda melty, peeled the wrapping off in several pieces and soaked it and molded it in warm water until it folded easy. If it feels sticky in your hand, dunk it in water. If it doesn't slide easy on your car, use more lube. Pros and cons below. Pros Does it work? Yes! Is it worth the money? Yes! Cons Do you have to re-wet it every 60 seconds? Yes! It may not be top shelf professional clay bars that high end detailers use, but for the price, a typical car owner who wants to detail their vehicles-- can't complain. It works just as good as any of the clay bars you buy at AutoZone, etc, and for a fraction of the price! (I don't use the "special" clay bar spray) I just use soapy water (car wash soap) and keep the surface wet and slippery while I use it. When I need more clay bars, I'd make this purchase again without hesitation ... show more

Very average, you get what you pay for, its tough to mold and it gets very dry and brittle fast so 1 piece might only be usable once even if you don't need the whole piece, you would need to keep it in a airtight container or it will become useless after.

When I read the reviews for this product I thought perhaps it might burn my house down or force an impeachment. Turns out it didn't. I'm a bit concerned that some of the negative reviews are either from people who don't know how to use a clay bar or from people whose vested interest is either a selling a different brand of clay bars or be avoiding competition in the car detailing space. Watch three or four good YouTube videos and learn how to use it correctly. The bar works just the way it should. If it's sticking to something in storage, put it in a plastic bag; seems reasonable right? if it's a little too hard, try warming it up. I mean 1 star for these complaints? Come on. Seriously this is not rocket science. The most important thing is to keep your car wet. Wet, wet, wet like Seattle, and don't make circles and you won't have a problem. Not a quality clay. Hard and ineffective. After almost an hour I realized it was failing to pick up contaminants that I could easily remove with my thumb nail. Obviously the manufacturer of this product found a way to peddle something and make a buck. I trashed them and ran to Autozone to buy an over-the-counter product (Mother's) and it worked as expected: great. The Mother's clay is soft and tacky by comparison, and works as it should. Don't scrimp on your clay by telling yourself, "It's just clay. How complicated can it be?" Get a good quality clay; not these bars. ... show more

These clay bars are really useful when on a budget. You get 5 bars for what other sell for one. All 5 come in a neat little box and individually wrapped. If it is your first time using clay I reeeeally recommend watching videos or read the instructions that come with it course they aren’t for beginners. They are cheap, easy to use and well they work. Used half of one to get rid Odell the small contamination with cars hood had and got it ready for the wrap. It came out perfect. ... show more
