Half of this kit is cheap plastic, and half is well made metal tools. The ball tools are nice and easy to use. The plastic bits are disappointing. But, they work well for kids to play with. The extruder is nice, but the shapes are on the small size and tend to lose their shape as soon as they get pushed through. I would suggest an exacto knife for cutting the pieces off as well, as the tools provided do not cut, they end up smooshing the pieces you're trying to work with. It is easy to use and easy to clean.
