The brush left the same shine and brushed coat he had with other brushes but he loved this. If I were to recommend a brush based on what a dog would want, this is it. For any dog parents, it just works well between puppy and yourself. It’s not a huge brush but not too small, it’s a decently cheap brush. Effective on both dogs, that have very different types of hair. The sheltie has thick two-layer hair, the big dog has short thick hair. This comb collect massive amounts of dog hair. They even grab the brush with their mouths and bring it to me when they’re ready for a grooming session, which I think is adorable.
