I highly recommend this nail grinder to all dog owners. My new puppy didn’t like getting her nails trimmed so I went on a mission to find a nail grinder she wouldn’t mind and I found it. I purchased several and this is the only one she had no problem with. It works so well you have to be careful not to over grind. It literally takes me less than 5 minutes to trim her nails and there’s almost no flinching. To get the sander at the right height is a pain and the case around the sander can also be a pain, but once you have the depth set correctly then this device is a dream. Very quiet and effective. My dogs hate having their feet touched at all, let alone having their nails trimmed. This makes things a bit easier. Very high quality and clearly durable. Multiple speed and attachments. Seems very professional from the perspective of a non-professional dog groomer.

Just used this for the first time. It works GREAT! I bought it to replace a very cheap dog nail tool that no longer works correctly. This Dremel is quiet and does the job in less than half the time it took with the cheap grinder. Both my dogs seemed to not really mind having their nails done with it. They were very comfortable with it. I only used the first speed setting, but it has several speeds which is nice! I love that it has different attachments. It is lockable which makes it easy to change attachments. I tried the nail guard, but I found I prefer using a diamond Dremel bit I bought separately without the guard. Very easy to use. I have an eight year old German Shepherd that does not let me get close to her paws with a nail clipper. Only the vet could cut her nails during her annual check up while she is sedated. I decided to try this Dremel nail grinder because of its low noise feature and it turns out this is the solution. After about a week of just turning on the tool around her and touching her paws with the bottom end, I was able to grind one of her nails. With the help of treats, I can now do all the nails on one paw in a single session. I am slowly getting to the point where I can do all of her nails in one session. Life changing. We own a 11 month old Rottweiler whose biggest fear is getting her nails trimmed with trimmers. Our vet even denied us trims. I resorted to using my own personal nail dremel as she wouldn’t let me attempt any other way. I just finished her front paws with minimal budge in under 5 minutes. Beginner friendly, a bit bulky to hold, but not too heavy. Higher level 4/5 are loud, while levels below are manageable noise levels. THANK YOU! Great product. Our dog has always been terrified of nail trimming, and this definitely takes the sting out of it easy to set up and use. I’d use it in a ventilated space, since the smell of ground dog nail makes quite the smell.

    • Good Product, But Received Used and Missing Parts — Frustrating Experience

I received this Dremel PawControl used and missing parts, including the charger, and the sandpaper attachments were completely worn down. I tried to get a replacement, but my only option was to return and reorder. Since I bought this during a Prime Day promotion, reordering meant spending more money upfront, which was frustrating. I contacted Amazon support, and they said I’d have to return the item and reorder, then they would refund the price difference later. Because I already had a compatible charger and attachments, I asked for a partial refund due to the hassle and the very used condition of the product. As for the tool itself, I do like that it’s rechargeable, but the battery life is disappointing. It usually dies or noticeably weakens by the 3rd paw of the 4th dog. For someone with fewer dogs or who works faster, it might be fine, but for me, it’s just okay. Overall, the product works well when charged but the purchase and battery issues made this less than ideal. ... show more
