My husband and I got two of these and they were a very low price at the time. So glad I got them. We have never had electric bikes before, and living in Tennessee and getting a little older, these have been a game changer for us. You still have to pedal, but that's not an issue. The electric assistance helps immensely. The only thing we both don't like are the seats and I don't like the handles. I can live with the handles a while, but different seats were purchased the day we got the bikes. The seat is basically some kind of medieval torture device. But if you get the deal we did, another 30 bucks for a seat is worth it. Assembly was easy, and instructions were clear. The bike is mostly assembled, and everything worked perfectly first try. Totally recommend. If the seats were nicer I'd have given a full 5 stars. That's really my only quibble. ... show more

Only 2 months after having the bike, the battery is completely useless and broken!! Tried contacting the company via email, website, and phone with no luck. Keep getting automated messages but can’t actually talk to a real person!! I have no way of getting the battery replaced. This is a lot of money to spend on something that only lasts a couple months! NOT WORTH THE RISK!! Next time I’ll make sure it’s a legitimate company before purchasing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pretty well-constructed trail Ebike. It comes with a front suspension, but that’s only to smooth out imperfections on pavement or light light trails. Shimano Tourney 7-speed gearing and adequate mechanical disk brakes. Let them break in for a few miles and they’ll stop more quickly. I got over 30 miles with power on 2 and 3 mostly, so you could get close to 40 miles between charges if you keep it on levels 1 or 2. It doesn’t have a throttle so you’ll have to pedal if you expect to move, but put it on level 3 and select 1st or 2nd gear and it will pedal effortlessly at 5 to 10 mph on level roads. First thing to upgrade is the seat. Not comfy at all! Get some fenders if you expect to ride in the rain, and a rear bike rack and you’ve got a commuter bike! Always wear a helmet! Final edit - finally, after another 9 mile ride, the battery and power shut off! Pretty amazing for this Ebike. That makes a 22 mile ride, and 2 9 mile rides on my 400 foot elevation down and back rides over the last 3 days. That’s 40 miles on one charge, with medium pedaling using mostly power level 2 and 3. If you’re wanting to commute with this bike that means you can probably get away with a 12 to 15 mile commute and get back home with a few miles to spare and then charge it overnight! The media could not be loaded. This bike is a petal assisted elective bike, which means it’s only powered when you’re petaling. If you stop petaling the power stops. The battery is removable with the key, which makes for easy charging. You don’t have to move the entire bike near an outlet. The battery lasts a long time. I rode more than 5 miles before it dropped one battery bar. The battery bars show you how much battery you have. The speed is easily adjusted by pushing the + and - button. Goes fast. I don’t have a radar gun but it feels faster than 12mph. Love this bike! You can use it as a regular bike as well and then turn the power on to get back home if you’re tired. If there is one negative, it’s a little on the heavy side which most Elections bikes are. Definitely recommend this bike for the price! ... show more
