I really like thtese Sweepulire 125FT LED Outdoor String Lights. 125 ft was enough for me to do my back patio in detail. It looks so good! These lights are actually very nice looking and when you have them tied up against your house it just adds to the look of whatever you're trying to outline or light up. I did it right before the holidays, but these lights are such that you can have them year-round and still look great. They seem to be made really well so I'm sure that the last for quite some time. Not bright lighting but a warm lighting. I got these for my old horse barn to add some easy secondary lighting. I’m not sure if they had been returned but they were wadded up and took some time to untangle. Bulbs are plastic and lightweight. Plug IS NOT grounded yet these are for outdoor use? (Maybe I’m wrong in thinking it should be?) picture I included is at night & they are the only light on in the barn, I’m pretty happy for the money! ... show more

    • Great set of LED lights, thoughtfully packaged
The set is great, I bought this as a replacement for our older set that have become too old, a combination of the elements and the various critters have ended their life. Based on this, I knew I wanted some specific things, that this set offered; - Loong string of lights. Last time I got a 50 foot set, thinking that would be sufficient, but with looping it around things to secure it, I realized I needed much more length - LED - the last set I got were incandescent, which looked much nicer in the day, but were a terrible pain to maintain, and also very expensive to run. The LED ones are much much cheaper to run, and last longer. I personally don't like the bright yellow filaments in these LED lights, so they look less appealing during the day, but not something you notice regularly - sturdy cables - my experience has been that thinner cables, tend to wear out sooner, this came with a nice thickness of cord When it arrived, I was glad to see that all the lights worked, they've even included a few spare bulbs, and some fastener ties, which is very thoughtful and helpful of them. The set was easy to install, and works really well. Final note for anyone who has a lot of squirrels, or other beasts of mental burden. Squirrels especially seem to love both climbing one and chewing my outdoor lights. This invariably results in destroying them quickly. A humane approach to solving this we found effective, was to spray all the wires with some very hot peppers mixed with water. (we experimented with ghost pepper oil and simple cayenne pepper powder, both worked quite well, so long as it's applied liberally) ... show more

This is a very long set of lights, it comes as a single continuous line of lights. These lights look good, the quality is decent and the wire looks to be thick enough to not break easily. I will be curious to see how well they hold up when the next big storm rolls through. These lights are not as bright as I was expecting, and they have a very orange light to them which I am not sure if I like or not. The design of them is very cool, like the edison light bulb style, they look good. I will do an update in a few months to share how they have weathered. UPDATE: I have had these lights up for some time now and I want to share with you how well they are holding up to being outside. They have endured several very severe thunderstorms, and a mini tornado that came through. A big branch fell on the string lights head on but it simply bounced off, I was looking out the window as it happened. I was shocked it did not snap the line, but I thought it would most likely have broken the wiring inside. That evening when the sun went down to my surprise, the lights came on, and worked perfectly, I was shocked by this, because it was a big heavy branch that fell on it. These lights are holding up beautifully in the weather, they have survived branches falling on them, wind, rain and snow and they keep on working. Not a single bulb has gone bad and they continue to work each and every night without issue. I put these around the fence in my back yard. It almost reached all the way around. Amazing. They are bright and so far have lasted a couple of months. Should last a long time. Bulbs are nice and bright

    • Attractive soft bistro-style lights
This is a nice long strand of medium-brightness lights with a slightly yellow tinge. They are easy to put up and have small hooks on each of the lights which helps if clipping to thin tree branches, for instance. I've had them outside for a few months and they still are working--hoping they last through the winter as they are giving my backyard a nice glow when we are out there at night. I haven't played around with the remote control yet-just plug and unplug the lights as it's a bit easier since they are hanging near the plug. The bulbs are lightweight plastic, but do seem durable enough. I accidentally stepped on one when putting up the strand--it made a cracking noise, but works fine. There are a few extra replacement bulbs in the box, which is a nice touch. They do look like glass, with the benefit of not being so breakable and heavy. You'd really have to touch it to discover they are plastic. So far, very happy with this light strand. ... show more
