This is a very well-made watch timer. I would have given it 5 stars in all categories except that the watch holder does not do well with the typical large watches of today such as Seiko 5 Automatics, Tags, Rolex Submariners and other diver type watches. When you rotate the watch face down it will likely fall out so you have to be very careful to have it sitting on something soft. Also the watch holder has an inconvenient stop that only allows 180 degree rotation of the face (around the direction of the watchband). You can also rotate the entire mechanism which in theory should work okay but this stops you from tracking the watch time with a 45 degree downward angle unless you mount the watch upside down which won't pick up the ticks in many cases. However, it is possible to work around these problems so its still a good value at this price but it would be REALLY nice if they allowed the holder to rotate 270 degrees like higher-priced systems. ... show more

I ordered the same or similar unit from another vendor who gave me problems about shipping so I cancelled, a few days later I ordered from a a different vendor, unit arrived in 2 days and works perfectly. I've used it now several times with 3 different watches and it gives needed insight into how your mechanical watch is running. You also see correlation into timing variations based amplitude, ie, how wound the watch is. So far I'm happy with this purchase and have no "cons" to offer. ... show more

This timegrapher was very simple to setup and have already been able to correct two watches. One watch was running fast and one was running slow, with the help of this two I now have two watches that keep much more accurate time.

Was able to use the device with just a quick perusal of the manual. Able to check the timing of several watches in just a few minutes. The timing machine gave easily understandable info about the watches I checked, which I was able to adjust to much better timing accuracy.
