We have been users of Swann Security cameras for many many years now we’ve had great success with them so when we needed a new system for our business, we purchased a Swan system and it’s given us no trouble whatsoever. Easy to set up user-friendly and reliable.

    • cheap and faulty cameras
This is not a very user friendly system. We had to watch a lot of videos to try to understand what to do and it still didn't make sense or work. Then the cameras started to break down. The first 2 that were mounted did fine for a week then the spotlight and enforcer lights started flashing for no reason. Then the spotlight went dim. We tried all the troubleshooting methods and nothing worked. Tech support answered right away when I first reported it. They wanted videos showing the problem. I sent them but wasn't sure why, the cameras didn't work right and we just wanted them replaced. Didn't hear back from them for a week and couldn't reach anyone on the phone. When the spotlight went out on a 3rd camera we said forget it and returned the whole thing before time ran out and we wouldn't be able to return it. Customer service sucks, cameras sucks, no user manual and the app made no sense. ... show more

Quality is very good. Instructions are moderately complex. Having setup several other camera systems was a definite plus. Without any guidance from someone in the field it would be hard. Contacting their technical support was not much help. Poor communication and difficultly getting questions answered was a problem. Hands on help and experience is a real plus. System has may great features and does work well. Great value for the price compared to others. But be prepared if you are not technical! ... show more

My first one came broken but their support team set me up with a replacement for free the cameras themselves have plastic bodies but are durable and have good picture quality and good night vision and motion detection.

I installed myself which was easy . Test cameras before installing . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Comes with everything you need to install . Also the app is nice but not needed .
