Style: 10" Firm + Base Size: Split King
I have now had this bed (split king) for 6 months and I have to say it is one of the most comfortable bed out there. I got the 14 firm mattress as back issues do better with the more firm mattress. The almost infinite head and foot adjustments are great. The zero gravity setting takes pressure off spine and makes for a comfortable night's sleep. If you are side sleeper you will want to sightly raise the head and keep foot section level otherwise will torque your low back. As others have noted, the frame is extremely sturdy (read heavy)---and seems well make. My only criticism is the remote does not "light up" when you pick it up--you have to press a button (any button) for the light to come on--but then have to re-adjsut whatever button you used. After a month or so--I could tell by feel which buttons to use. Otherwise, I can whole hearty recommend this bed. ... show more

Style: 14" Medium Soft + Base Size: Split King
This is an amazing value. After looking Tempur-pedic options in a local store and being quote ~$13K for a comparable split king with adjustable base, I starting looking online at other options. I was a bit hesitant to order without trying the mattress first but this company seemed legit and had good ratings for customer service so I gave it a shot. After having it for a couple of weeks now, my wife and I are thrilled. It is comfortable and supportive. It is soft but we also added a 2" pillow top mattress cover/protector which helped nudge it over the top into ridiculously comfortable. One thing to note is that this is my first memory foam bed. While they sleep cooler than the previous generations I have tried, if you are a hot sleeper, the gel infused memory foam isn't perfect and you will still get warm after a while. My solution to this was a Chilipad Ooler which is absolute magic and I would recommend to anyone that sleeps hot. Combined with the Sven & Son mattress and adjustable base, it is a wonderful solution. My wife is a side sleeper and love it. I am a back sleeper and now generally sleep in the zero-gravity position (there is a dedicated button on the remote for this mode). We both love the massage. And, the adjustable lumbar support is really nice when you want it. Only downside is that the bases are HEAVY. Can't really fault the product as they are substantial frames and motors, which is a good. However, be prepared for a workout :-) One final note. The morning back pain that I thought was normal after 10 years on my old sleep number mattress is mostly gone now with the Sven & Son mattress. Couldn't be happier. ... show more

Spent months looking at reviews across multiple sites of various vendor products to replace a 20-year old king size coil mattress bed. Agree with others that purchasing something as expensive as this makes you hesitate ... BUT ... spoke to an Amazon representative and was assured that the 100-day return policy for the bed frame and mattress did apply and that I would have no problems with return (and they - Amazon - would arrange for pickup). After that it became a no brainer decision and I am so glad that we did. Delivery was quicker than advertised. Bed was easy to setup -- just add legs and plug in. Note - it does take two people to do so. The frame legs are 3" or 6" or combined for 9"; the tallest was too high - and the 3" leg was simply perfect. The adjustability of the platinum bed frame was a few notches better than others and was the second selling point. The 10-year warranty (parts & labor for mattress and frame) through Sleep Geekz was the third selling point (not to mention the reviews folks posted about the 5-star customer service .... fingers crossed). So far, having had for ~ 1 month, it is AWESOME! The mattress was advertised as 'medium-plush' but I would rate it on the firmer side. The cooling composite in the bed is noticeable (even after a mattress protector and fitted sheet) and offers anyone who runs on the hotter side of temperature a cooler night's sleep! Only problem experienced is that one TWIN-XXL mattress did not expand entirely. There's a 2" height difference which was easily solved with a mattress topper for the interim (and will be calling customer service about the same). So bottom line; quick delivery, excellent features, comfortable & cool mattress, and a consistently better nights' sleep makes this purchase well worth it (and from what I ready by others - a lot less expensive).
