I was skeptical, buying a bed online without trying it. But I decided to try this bed out and boy has it lived up to my expectations. This bed is well worth its money. I was between this one and the platinum edition, but could not figure out what was the difference between the two was. So to make it easy for others the platinum edition has an adjustable lumbar support and the classic doesn’t. That wasn’t something I needed for the additional money. I highly recommend this bed and I appreciate all the prior comments regarding this bed that made buying this bed an easier decision. Things to keep in mind the massaging function works, but not as strong as I would’ve expected. Also if you get the king split, I recommend getting a bed bridge. This is necessary due to the gap between the two mattresses. I ordered that on Amazon as well. You can’t beat the deal on this bed for its quality. We bought this bed over three years ago. We're still happy with it. We have had ZERO problems with it. When I assembled it, there was a "problem" with a motor, and the company sent a new one to us immediately. Well... It turns out that I didn't have the connection plugged in all the way. Duh. My fault. What impresses me is that the mattresses have not broken down AT ALL. There are no indentations. The mattresses look and feel LIKE NEW! All of the mechanical functions work as new as well. The Zero G setting is great for reading. The anti-snore setting works really well too. I have to tell you that I was apprehensive about purchasing a bed on-line, especially a mattress. Maybe I got lucky on the firmness that I selected. All I can say is that from day one this bed has been super comfortable. We have purchased several different kinds and brands of beds in the past. We had a Select Comfort bed before this one. The select comfort mattress padding broke down significantly in about 18 to 24 months. That bed became unbearable. So we bought this one. We like it so much that we bought our daughter and her husband one too. Everyone is very happy with their beds. We are 110% satisfied! We bought this bed to help alleviate my husband's health issues, but it also happens to be the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on! We initially put off the purchase over concerns about the size & weight of it (handling it & getting it into the house) and whether or not we could afford it. We found out that the pallet consists of 4 separate boxes, which made it manageable to handle for 2 people, and Amazon offered an interest free payment plan which made it doable. We now wish we hadn't put it off! There's a variety of positions to choose from & the ability to fine tune them, using the remote (which lights up as you push the buttons) --also wonderful for reading & TV viewing. There are vibration settings, a flashlight button & an under-bed nightlight for finding your way around the room without waking your partner. The remote is essential, so we ordered 2 sets. I bought bags (made for a walker) to keep them handy, along with the TV remote, bottle of water, etc., & attached each to a 10" safety grab bar, which slides under the mattress (to the side or above the head) without interfering with the mechanics of the bed. The safety bar is easy to assemble, DHA! (Dubious Husband Approved). Adjustable bed frame works great and was easy to put together. Was told by seller that delivery would require my signature. Delivery service did NOT come to my door and ask for signature even though I was home at the time. Instead they left it in the street leaning up against my mailbox! I ordered a Harmony split king base, which should arrive in two twin XL boxes. Only one base was delivered. I reached out to the seller and they quickly shipped a replacement. The replacement arrived by the original delivery date. The customer service was amazing. The two XL bases were super easy to set up. Screw in a few legs and plug it in. The remote is intuitive and simple. I set this up for my elderly parents, they are very pleased with all the features. I paired this base with an original purple mattress.
