Size: King Style: Adjustable Base Only
I think the last time I set one of these “bendy beds” up was several years ago for a queen mattress. This unit is the first for a king bed. I figured at the time, how heavy could this be in comparison? For one, this is a king base, yet it weighs three times heavier than the yesteryear queen base. Moreover, looking at the guts of this, it seems like it was designed by an engineer that architects truck frames. In other word, built super heavy duty. Perhaps this is due to the heavier and larger king mattress it supports? That’s my guess. Setting it up was easy. To be safe though, I would recommend two people (at least). This is not only due to the weight but also the awkward size. Currently with a mattress on top of this base, it works well. Similar to my other queen size “bendy bed” but with more features and quicker bending speed. I like it. ... show more
